Wasn’t there an article saying Zak Johnson may have an extension activated, could be due to the homegrown rule.
Aye it’s done for this season, I just mean going forward . Only really Rigg isn’t there so can only name a 22 man squad. Will just have to bulk the bench out with young uns most of the time.

You were comparing to this season. The season gone was PSR which is a 3 season system. It's a completely different 1 season calculation now.

I think 8 have to be homegrown with 4 from your own academy. Having four kids in the squad is basically fine, great experience for them. The other four is where the challenge lies in making sure they’re very good. At present it’s not really a problem, the four academy kids would include Rigg plus three most promising and the other four would certainly include Ballard, Moore and O’Nien with a few other possibilities like Mundle.
I think we probably will recruit a couple of home grown lads if we can though as having 8 that are good enough to contribute to the premier league squad is actually more challenging IMO.

So you need 4 that were at your actual club for 3 years before they turned 21 and then another 4 who were in England or wales before they turned 21?
Henderson possible to come back? I can’t even think of anyone else close to the level we’d need.

Just can't see us paying £50m+ for any player unless we sold Roefs AND Sadiki for big fees.
And even then I can't see Utd selling. They have Europe next year too and will need the rotation. He stills starts some games for them, not like he's completely frozen out.
