My main thing for him is his ability to save shots by blocking, rather than him always having use his hands in a way that a goalkeeper such as Pickford does
 
To be fair it just hit him, yes he positioned himself correct but the header was terrible, I'd be spitting feathers if we didn't score from that.
 
I think we'll keep him for another season, and he'll be happy to stay.

He comes across as a very grounded lad, and his rise has been off the charts. To put in the performances he has must mean that he feels in a good place here. To move again so quickly may not have the same outcome.

Taking away all our biases and how we want to keep him, what is he possibly going to learn here next season that he wouldn't learn (and more) at the very top teams that will be in for him.

I was talking about Chelsea not the top teams. Chelsea will play him for 3 weeks, he'll make one mistake and then be dropped for 3 months. All time he could have actually played and learned for us. He's been great, but he is young and has made mistakes for us - do you reckon Chelsea play him immediately after his error against Forest for example?

I think with a competent manger like Xabi Alonso, and the understanding of how well he did last season with us, Chelsea fans/ the club will probably stick with him aye. Every keeper makes mistakes and they're not completely insane at Chelsea - even if the pressure is more obviously.

I'd love him to stay, but I do think it's our fans trying to talk up reasons to keep him - rather then the reality of the situation like. Same with every good player we've ever had, someone will find a reason why they need one more season with us.

They haven't got the money. They are 340 million in the red, don't have Champions league money, a horrendous wage bill and a transfer ban hanging over them for their ridiculous finances. Chelsea need to sell big before anything else, the only way they'd get him is to chuck players at us. Additionally, they have Penders on their books who is in the French squad, similar age and doing well. The Chelsea link does not make any sense.
