He’s a great RB but I think he’s a better CB. He has tailed off a little in the second half of the season but overall I have him as my player of the season. I know Xhaka will get it for his leadership & what he brings overall but for quality on the pitch I’d give it to Nordi.

Mukiele, Ballard, Alderete and Reinildo is our best back four. Geertruida hasn't been used enough but Mukiele is wasted at CB when he's so good going forward.

But we look so solid with him at CB, never seems to get beaten or lose a Duel, his positioning is so good.

At RB he doesn't have the energy to get back sometimes or gets caught out of position and beaten a little too easily by high quality wingers

It's a great shout and if you look back at my posts over the last 3 months I've been saying the exact same thing regarding his best position
 
Would still say Ballard and Alderete but Ballard is injury prone. Good options to have with Mukiele being able to slot in and O’Nien you couldn’t fault today when he came on. Immaculate.

We started 3-5-2 today and it was fairly universally viewed as a bit of a horror show.

(In truth it’s good for us in certain situations, such as when we need to keep it tight against quality opposition. But it also ant the solution to our creativity issues as today showed imo).

I'm hoping we add Luciemi to that and then it's 4 for 2 with Nordi able to slot at RB when it suits
