University student stabbed

Mr Nowak is then heard saying: 'Innit bad man, what bad man. You're a bad man, say you're a bad man, go on.'

Digwa replied: 'I am a bad man' to which Mr Nowak replied: 'Are you a b…', before the footage cuts off.

That’s odd mind, not sure what this Nowak fella is going on about randomly asking if someone is a bad man and then calling him a bitch later. Sounds like he’s antagonising him for some reason.

No way am I defending this Digwa lad btw, just saying it’s a bit of a weird interaction between two strangers.

He carried a small ceremonial kirpan but he also had the 8 inch murder weapon on his person.
This was a thing in Bradford in my youth, the ceremonial kirpan was allowed, carrying the 8” real thing wasn’t if remember. Carrying that knife these days he was tooled up.

Sad thing about all this, is that the only person to counter any of the accusations or police accounts is dead 😕

So it's not as clear cut as is being made out here..
The offender got caught and prosecuted despite trying to hide his crime, are the police getting any praise for that ?
No because they handcuffed the dying stab victim because he was accused of racism.
Not sure how you can think the police deserve praise in this instance? Other than if you agree with what they have done.

can we not praise them for successfully arresting and prosecuting the perpetrator AND criticise them for wrongly handcuffing the victim ?

Reply, isn't the whole suggestion that police actions contributed to his death. That instead of being given proper care and treatment he was arrested.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but that's the entire point right? Or are you being deliberately obtuse?
He does this most of the time.
Pretends to be genuinely confused or perplexed, whilst ignoring key facts and obvious events.

They arresested someone who had stabbed a man to death - not sure how much praise that needs. That's what they should be doing.
The remarkable, noteworthy, and main point of this story is that they first hand cuffed a bloke that had been fatally stabbed because his attacker had accused him of racism.

You're deliberately pretending not to understand the story again.

Tragic, im not sure Sikhs should have religious exemptions to carry knives like.
"Digwa was found to have a small Kirpan around his neck that fulfilled his religious obligation and the 'Shastar' blade he carried on him was much larger - around eight inches [21 cm]the court heard"

Also had a huge stash of weapons at home

I've always thought it mental that Sikhs have a religious exemption from laws against carrying knives, especially when that particular religious obligation can be fulfilled without using a lethal offensive weapon.

He's surely going down. Whether the racism allegation is true or not, there's no level of racist abuse that justifies stabbing someone.

What if you racislly abused a few thousand Jews in Tel Aviv and then for balance racially abused a few thousand Muslims online across numerous platforms? I’d like to think that most mainstream media outlets wouldn’t be surprised if a stabbing was the final outcome.
