Worth a punt at about £10m? He’s currently on around £120k per week, so he’d certainly be in the Xhaka/Mukiele top end wage bracket.

Think we'll be prioritising LB, or a left footed CB who can play at LB. We've already got Nordi and Hume for that right side. We've already seen with how little Geertruida has played that it wouldn't make sense to bring in another player for that role when we'll be short on the left side with Cirkin looking like he's off.

£120k just to push Hume to 3rd choice isn't a sensible use of a budget imo. That's how you max SCR pretty quickly.
