Southampton spying compendium thread

A point in the game they lost 1-5 would have had them in the playoffs though, makes it a bit more difficult
Not really, saints spied on Boro training in preparation to the play off semi and was caught in the act before the game even played.

Unsure what point you’re making here

My first question to you was what if the rumours of them spying on Wrexham too is found to be true. Boro are said to have this information and passing it on. Meaning that they also robbed Wrexham of a chance to get a point and end in the playoffs

I am suggesting it may not be as clear as just booting out Southampton and putting Boro through

I admit when I read this my first thought was "Oh ffs the Wrexham media wankathon may be back on"

It is as simple as that in this case in isolation. The play offs are a one of game over two legs.

Wrexham had the chance to earn points by other means to finish in the play offs.

Aye it's come to light during the competition (the playoffs) and the smogs wouldn't be promoted in place of Southampton, rather given the opportunity to win it, which being cheated against could have denied.

Any offence that affects Wrexham and others has come to light following the completion of the league ... it's unfortunate (I mean it's not, it's Wrexham so  ) but punishments for that need to be retrospective points deductions and fines, as unsatisfactory as that might feel. Southampton are the issue, so they need a massive and potentially multiple punishment.

Just seen a post suggesting Millwall believe it's happened to them?

Very interesting. May mean Ipswich have to drop into the playoffs, Wrexham added to them and all replayed.

It'll be Leicester with suspicions soon so can't be relegated etc etc
