Yeah, i was doing some research on it the other day, it makes sense, he's let them know who's in his thoughts at this point, but those can change, given premer league and european games that are left

Yes. If a player in the final squad gets injured you can only replace him with somebody from this pre-approved list (due to visas, eligibility, etc). So it makes total sense to max out this list with players

You can only call up players from this list, so you might as well maximise the list now. It's to make sure all their paperwork is in order and so on

Any replacements for injuries you call up must be from this list too so the paperwork is all in place ready to go

It makes complete sense to use the full list. If you only sent 30 names in and 2 of them get injured between now and the end of the season you've got 28 players to pick from, which would be self-inflicted stupidity
