He's a decent player but his positional sense is sometimes awful. Like against Bournemouth when their left winger had a quarter of the pitch to run into and cross for the goal because Geertuida was covering the centre and we had no right back.

Indeed, he's had a good season. I've heard whispers that when the window opens we're allowed to sign players we want and not simply be left with the squad we currently have. Something to consider, ey.
 
Given he wanted to go to Liverpool in January after playing second fiddle and the club were willing to let him if a replacement were found, it's been on the cards for a while.

This is generally going to be the difficulty from hereon in, getting top quality players to be rotation/off the bench player is something of an contradiction.
 
Really strange this one. Lad has played to a good prem standard in numerous positions, seems to get on with the other players, never injured.

Maybe his wages are too high, or the club have identified a player they feel is better. Only time will tell, but I wish him well.
