Guessing a numbers game got them that they can afford after years of good management and scouting, hoping they get a bargain like with that Cashin from Derby.

I think people are rose tinting how well he did for us because of the Wembley goal - he was getting pelters from a lot because he wasnt performing well and people said his head was turned after the Brighton move was agreed.
 
I still think he has a potential future in the prem but as well as not really understanding the obsession with looking at old players, the Brighton move was for big money so I assume he'd expect established player wages for a decent prospect player. We do not nor should not operate on that basis
 
Said it from day one, but he's a million miles away from the level.

The club did exceptionally well to get the fee we did for him, given the circumstances. He wasn't even getting into our side ahead of Mundle FFS.

He'll never make a PL player as long as I've got a hole in my arse.

Granted he got the goal that got us promotion with virtually no time for Sheffield Unt.
Luckily the club has been gifted in selling hIm for £10 million ( allegedly) .Bellingham for £30 million and Stewart for £10 million !
3 players £50 million and none missed !

Get that but I still think we sold him at the time we weren’t absolutely sure of being promoted. No matter what, God bless yer Tommy lad……LEGEND! 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
