The bowling is over reliant on Potts and Raine.Stokes,and possibly Carse will provide cover for the remaining games in this stage but the rest,regardless of number are unproven. Need a proven,fit,preferably spinner overseas, for the end of season stage.

Great effort from the lads over the four days, far and away the better team and largely through four games we’ve been considerably better than every opposition team we’ve faced.

2 wins, denied by Storm Dave, denied by a horrific groundsman.

Those are the types of pitches that should be being sanctioned.

That pitch was a shocker mind so little in for any type of bowler. Would like to see us go for a quality overseas spinner for the later campaign.
