True le fee needs to get near or wingers
 
IMO it has been an issue since January 2025 when the initial surge of results faded and fourth place was more or less guaranteed. The players are either scared to, or told not to, shoot.

There is a lot of side to side passing never resulting in a meaningful shot, or just ending up with the play being recycled. Obviously Roefs is better with the ball at his feet but IIRC last season the ball would find its way back to Patterson with frequency too.

The daft thing is when the shackles were off in the derby at SJP, and players seemed to have license to shoot, there was a lot more attacking intent.

For all my team's faults this season (Wolves) we did at least test Roefs regularly throughout the second half today. Given your overperformance against xG this season, it's a concern I've had watching all.season long.

Won't post any more on here today but suffice to say the mood music on our forum Molineux Mix is dire.
 
We just don't get anyone anywhere near Brobbey. Nothing will change until we do.

None of our wide players have really claimed the position, we haven't got an attacking number 10 style midfielder of note (Le fee could maybe do that but too often he is out wide or has Diarra ahead of him), and until that changes, we will have to rely on defensive play, set pieces, and the occasional worldie.

It needs addressing in the summer. If it isn't, we won't be able to progress further.
