Common sense and the FA are never heard in the same sentence….I understand it to be a hot topic but there needs to be common sense applied . That incident is not why it was implemented.

I mean this with the greatest respect mate, you’re wrong.
The lad has hold of his shirt and catches a dreadlock. It’s a bollocks decision
We should absolutely appeal. Without sounding like a "conspirasee" theorist, I think it would get overturned if Arsenal appealed it for the sake of one of their key players this close to the end of the season.I’d be amazed if we even appeal and staggered if an appeal was successful.
I hope we see him again in red and white shirt.
We’re not Arsenal and I don’t think they’d get an appeal overturned for this offence either. We should absolutely appeal. Same ref who gave the one against the man utd defender too I believeWe’re not Arsenal and I don’t think they’d get an appeal overturned for this offence either.
It seems this particular offence is flavour of the month for premier league officials and when you watch the footage back Ballard definitely pulls his hair, intentional or otherwise.
Great player. Fantastic centre half. Watson and Hurley come to mind. He's the latest hate figure for some. Step aside, Luke, Diarra, Le Fee, Roeffs and everyone else who the boo boys have had a go at this season. There is always at least one.
Yes, he should have known better in the current climate but it's not going to make that much difference to our season.
Haway Big Dan Ballard. Come back next season bigger and better than ever.
Let's agree to disagree. Absolutely no way a club in a title race get either:We’re not Arsenal and I don’t think they’d get an appeal overturned for this offence either.

All about opinions marra. Bloody annoying all the same!Let's agree to disagree. Absolutely no way a club in a title race get either:
A) this decision in the first place
B) don't get it overturned on appeal
In my opinion, of course.
Great player. Fantastic centre half. Watson and Hurley come to mind.
If my old man told me off for being naughty when we were out , he used to threaten me with you’ll have to make your own way home![]()
Di you actually think he's looking at his hair?Nonsense. How do I post an image?
He has hold of his hair above the lads shirt when he's looking towards the ball but the hair will still be in his line of site.
Anyone who thinks that was deliberate is being ridiculous. 3 game ban cos some bloke has long hair![]()
Anyone who disagrees with this has never kicked a ball in their lives.Getting canny sick of reading 'well you shouldn't be grabbing shirts' online, their lad is 6'7 and an absolute wall, only so many ways Dan could hold his ground when the striker is backing into him
The hair pull was unfortunate but clearly accidental, same as the one on Cucurella by DCL recently
Tolu threw himself down like he'd been shot too, should have let the officials know it was an exaggeration imo
May be biased, of course
I didn't say you couldn't, but you can't gauge the duration or force involved from a still image, which is why VAR shouldn't be showing one to the ref.
Question for you, did Ballard grab any shirt during the incident, or was it just the hair?
