I said earlier in the season they'd finish above us and I still think they willThey are all desperate to win tonight to be the "best of the promoted clubs". They have been ill at the thought of Sunderland being promoted top dogs this season.
Think they'd be more arsed about winning to all but confirm safety mind![]()

Sadly, I got laughed at when I said they had a case that they've had the best season of the promoted teams
Think it's locked in now. Fair play to Farke and Leeds.I said earlier in the season they'd finish above us and I still think they will

I don’t really think that’s true tbf. We may catch you, we may not. Priority is staying up and then getting as high up the table as we can knowing every place =£3M. The only place I read about ‘best of the promoted sides’ with any sort of regularity is on this boardThey are all desperate to win tonight to be the "best of the promoted clubs". I think adding relegation clauses is sensible managementYorkshire mags. Look at the state of this man on Facebook
The same fans were constantly crying about Sunderland and how "brilliantly" they were handled by their owners. People were moaning that they got all the players we wanted and that their board actually knew what they were doing while ours was just sitting on their hands.
Well, look at the table now. We are just 4 points behind them with a better goal difference.
Football fans should know one thing: financial stability is criminally underrated. Out of any fanbase in the country, we as Leeds fans should know that best. Have we all just blocked out the absolute hell we went through because of corporate mismanagement in the past?
Sure, Sunderland might have snapped up some players that we were linked with. But look at how they did it. They did it through massive overpayments and loading up contracts with relegation clauses. Does that ring a bell? We did the exact same thing back in 2021-23 and we figured out very quickly that it was a catastrophic mistake.
It is an incredibly high-risk strategy. If you spend like that and fail to stay up, you are in massive trouble. Most of your "star" players will immediately jump ship using those exact clauses, and then you are forced to have a fire sale of your actual loyal assets just to keep the lights on while trying to rebuild.
I would take the smart, calculated signings by the 49ers over the reckless Sunderland way any day of the week. Let's see who actually got it right in the long run.

Na, we've been ahead of them all season, beat them and have never been in a relegation battle, they haveI think adding relegation clauses is sensible management
Said all season and still think it: they’ll finish above us
I saw that earlier. Their fans think they are Real Madrid for some reason. They’ve picked up a lot of points recently when held the league can’t be arsed anymore.Yorkshire mags. Look at the state of this man on Facebook

Good form lately no doubt but the absolute whoppers have been shite for most of it, been in a relegation battle, haven't been anywhere near us this season and haven't even beaten us. Yet they come up with this shite?I saw that earlier. Their fans think they are Real Madrid for some reason. They’ve picked up a lot of points recently when held the league can’t be arsed anymore.
They choked against a pathetic Chelsea team in the biggest game they’ve had for a long time, they are a very, very average side.
Nearly every player we’ve signed we could sell for a profit and most of them for huge profits. Our summer transfer window was amazing and will financially secure the club for years.Good form lately no doubt but the absolute whoppers have been shite for most of it, been in a relegation battle, haven't been anywhere near us this season and haven't even beaten us. They have a slim chance but not sure why any Sunderland fan would want to be proven right.Think your post might have cut off but don’t think any of that means they won’t finish above us
I don’t want to be proven right. Although it wouldn’t particularly bother me if Leeds specifically finished above us. Same as Brighton or whoever. They have a slim chance but not sure why any Sunderland fan would want to be proven right.
The League table never lies, We've been above them all season and have had the better season, that can't be disputed.I don’t want to be proven right. Although it wouldn’t particularly bother me if Leeds specifically finished above us. Same as Brighton or whoever.
Slim or whatever, I think they will and have done most of the season. Doesn’t really matter if they do or not
At this moment in time. I’m saying at the end of the season I think they’ll be above us. Plus they’ve had the Wembley semi final in the cupThe League table never lies, We've been above them all season and have had the better season, that can't be disputed.
Saw this earlier today on Facebook and asked who he thought we had overpaid for apart from maybe Diarra, didnt get an answer.Yorkshire mags. Look at the state of this man on Facebook
