Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland AFC 3pm Match Thread

This team will struggle massively next season. Hopefully we sign 3-4 genuine quality that walk into the starting 11 because this team will be in relegation scrap no doubt about it

Of course they will. The established PL mid-table teams have multiple £30m players on the bench to be match winners. We're relying on players like Talbi and Rigg to contribute to the first XI already.

A combination of experienced defenders, the form of some talented young players, 1 or 2 bargain signings of genuine PL quality, a massive amount of momentum and resilience has worked in tandem perfectly for us this season.

If we got just one of those things wrong, we'd be right in the thick of a relegation battle.

We need a couple of seasons PL revenue to build a squad deep enough to be less at risk of circumstance.

He’s clearly not fancied which is bizarre.
He's got a clause in his contract which triggers mandatory purchase on x appearances....

Regis confirmed it in a press conference the other week.

My take is he doesn't want to stay so he's on the bench for emergency only.
