Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland AFC 3pm Match Thread

Regardless whether you agree with it or not, we’ve all seen what has happened over the past few weeks with hair pulling. Ballard is f***ing thick and will cost us the game. We’ll just sit in now until they score.

Not watching , how have we played ?

I’ve not followed the detail of the thread but I’m given to understand that the rules will be changed to enable a game of British bulldogs across the length of the pitch in the second half. Biting and scratching won’t be allowed but the usual method of grabbing an opponent around the waist or any other part of the body to raise them off the ground is perfectly acceptable. Once all the players have been lifted, tugged, raised and wrestled in the appropriate manner, both teams will resume the game but all 21 players will kick towards the save goal. Except the ones with hair.

When I saw it again he has pulled his hair. I thought he didn't but he did. Stupid twat will cost us the game. Shall we blame Diarra? Nope blame Big Dan Blockhead
Problem is the hair is halfway down his back. All defenders grab a handful of shirt . Which was Dan's intention . Got a small handful of hair as well .
Has happened lots of time but as someone else said there is now a precedent set.
Ref couldn't do anything else as he had sent another player off not long ago for same action.

All of our players next season should be wearing hair extensions that go down to their arse so nobody can ever risk grabbing any part of the shirt

Easy work
Tbh mate, hope second half we go down complaining about anything. Milk everything big time.

A deliberate hair pull is a red card - how can the ref have said it was deliberate? Did it look deliberate to you?
Not particularly. But, he has pulled his hair, VAR got involved and in most cases there is only one outcome. Given the hardline approach which came out the other week, officials will be all over this for a few weeks

No common sense by the refs, Ballard looking at the ball at all times, trying to wrestle with the player and doesn’t realise he even has his hair, you don’t fall forward from a decent hair pull either
Before this new directive most players wouldn’t even register. Now it’s a rule any hint they go down. The lads bought it.
