Seems like it was impossible to grab any part of the shirt of a 6ft7 striker because of his hair. Surprised it's not more common.

I agree that pulling hair *CAN* be violent conduct. A bit like and elbow to the head, it’s not always though. Sometimes it’s accidental.

However unlike elbows, there seems to be a new rule that says ANY touching of hair is violent.

It’s f***ing mental.

Now that was easily cleared up back to the point I commented on, which is a suggestion players with long hair will now somehow manipulate a sending off by deliberately getting a player to grab it.

The longer the hair, the more chance of it being accidentally “pulled” - which results in a red card

Tie it up, no advantage for any grapples around the shoulder area.

Leave it down, more chance of accidental hair pulls and red cards for the opposition.
