Wolves Away Pub

Yorkshiremackem1

Reserve Squad
Spoke to Ashley Lowerson last night the dedicated away pub for Wolves on Saturday is "Twelve" it opens at 10am on matchday it's a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 11 minute walk from Molineux she stated it is home fans only in any other pubs in city centre and around the ground so might be worth all piling into there 🙂

Good to know , cheers.

Wonder how she arranges this , and how we are meant to know ?

Stopping off at Spoons New Street station and getting a later train through.
That’s my plan. A couple in Brum then the train through. It surprises me why some cities and town don’t welcome the match day revenue. I was so looking forward to getting in the Great Western for a few. But I’m sulking now and will spend my money in Brum.

very little info about this place, i'm guessing its the nightclub on the corner of Broad street and Fryer street ? its in google maps as 'the slade rooms'

looks a decent size and just next to the train station, but anyone googling 'twelve' won't be able to find it

It always baffles me that these teams that "rivals" care very little about, ban away fans from pretty much every pub around the ground, I remember Derby was similar last year.

So glad we aren't like that and are welcoming to the majority of other clubs around the country, it's small time as fuck.

imagine how much it costs the local economy.. not just pubs, but food outlets, hotels, taxis etc... that people would use if they were allowed to stay around the place. its tragic

i noticed loads of nottm forest fans around the town last friday, the longer we stay in the prem, the more likely it is that returning away fans will chose to stay in the city

i know i'm biased but i've been to 80+ away grounds in every corner of the country and sunderland must be one of the very best for visiting fans - train station right in the middle of town, stadium in the middle of town, endless pubs and restaurants in 5 mins walk in either direction, friendly locals, riverside, beach, relatively cheap.

places like wolverhampton are missing a trick with this 'no away fans' shite

why is it that the vast majority of venues in wolverhampton are home only?

Is it a police directive/recommendation?

or have loads of independent business's got together and made a conscious decision to ban away fans?

a few years ago, chorley council tried to make buisness's there turn away football fans, as chorley was being used as a venue for coaches to stop en route to liverpool, preston, manchester, burnley etc. their recommendations didn't last long
They always have, as far back as I can remember. Was already happening in the 70s/80s.

Train is 2/3 times quicker.
our train is due in to wolverhampton at 11.39. we're debating whether to get off in wolves or stay on to birmingham, about another 15minutes

Twelve looks an absolute charver dive on their website, and doesn't even exist on Google maps or untappd.

I can't imagine I'll be going there.

PACK and Best Western look better options to me
