Yet has comfortably more than our top scorerIn my humble opinion, if Zian Flemming is the right answer for any PL club other than a desperate newly promoted team, then the wrong question has been asked.
Time will tell.I can spot a billion miles away he's going to be a superb player, maybe you can't.
Rigg has had more bad games than good and has only really just started to find his feet in the prem.
Takes time for young players
We want Europe shame roefs Mukiele brobbey didn't want to show upInteresting that he didn't turn up for a vital game at our place but turned up for a dead rubber at home.
I agree. He has only just turned 20 (in March) and has already been first choice for a full Championship season, and two full PL seasons (plus associated Europa and CL campaigns). He’s also been a regular at every England age group from U-15’s to U-21’s. If Spurs go down then it’s looking very likely that he will going to Liverpool in the summer. Yet, the luminaries of the SMB have decided that he’s dog shit because he had a poor game a couple of weeks ago against Xhaka.I can spot a billion miles away he's going to be a superb player, maybe you can't.

Roefs literally made one mistake all game. From memory it's his only error with his feet that has cost us a goal all season. There's been a ridiculous overreaction on here for some bizzare reason? We want Europe shame roefs Mukiele brobbey didn't want to show up
He wasn't against Xhaka. He was probably up against Diarra.I agree. “I actually laughed when I saw him playing in that role. We had the vastly experienced, beautiful footballer Xhaka. They had the average Archie Gray. Xhaka was pulling the strings, Gray was pulling his pud. I was gutted when he went off because I thought Spurs would only get better.”Roefs literally made one mistake all game. You can compare players playing in a similar role but they can be playing 50 yards apart and barely ever come into contact with each other.
& that found me watching some years later a 6-0 thrashing at BoltonWe signed 3 midfielders from relegated clubs once.
Genuinely wouldn’t touch Maddison. Big wages, always seems to miss chunks of the season. Big wages just to keep our physios busy.Gray, maddison, bergval, they have loads who would improve us
That's a comparison. You said they were playing against each, the weren't. They were both sitting in front of the teams back 4's about 50 yards apart. He has scored one goal more than BB from
open play (2 of his 9 have been penalties). And his 9 goals overall have been responsible for his side gaining half the number of points that BB’s goals have been responsible for (4 v 8). One is a decent championship player in a poor PL team. One is a decent PL player in a decent PL team.

Yeah I would agree up until a point. They’ve signed players who cost a lot and seem to miss chunks of the season with injuries. Maddison, good player but always seems to pick up injuries. Solanke is another.Everyone laughs at Spurs - and rightly so - but it can’t be denied they’ve had horrendous luck with injuries
I’m pretty sure that Archie Gray and Granit Xhaka were playing against each other that day. You know I’m pretty sure that’s how football works - teams of 11 players (plus subs) play against each other. That's a comparison. You said they were playing against each, the weren't. They were both sitting in front of the teams back 4's about 50 yards apart.
It wasn't a Roy Keane / Patrick Viera battle from back in the day.
Not every relegated player is a bad player. There's good value there.None overpriced players that are at the bottom of the PL for a reason
They were, the same way as Roefs was playing against Kinsky.I’m pretty sure that Archie Gray and Granit Xhaka were playing against each other that day. You know I’m pretty sure that’s how football works - teams of 11 players (plus subs) play against each other.
I know what you mean, although I’m pretty sure James Maddison had come off 7 consecutive seasons in the PL and 1 in the Championship playing at least 75% of games until he got knacked playing for Spurs in January 2025, and he’s not really come back from that yet.Yeah I would agree up until a point. They’ve signed players who cost a lot and seem to miss chunks of the season with injuries. Maddison, good player but always seems to pick up injuries. Solanke is another.

Correct. I’m glad that you agree seeing as how it was you that brought it up in the first place. You are choosing to back your opinions on one game that he played against a Sunderland midfield being controlled by Xhaka. Others are choosing to back their opinions on what they have seen for the past 3 seasons. They were, the same way as Roefs was playing against Kinsky.
He's only 20 but an over hyped English player who may or may not go for big money.I'm not sure if you're on a wind up in this thread Keith but you're coming across as clueless mind. Gray is a quality player, he's played in the Championship, Premier League, 2 tiers of European football, every cup competition and at every level for England up to U21 level.
He'll more than likely play for England and has won a European trophy. He's 21 year old.
He'd be a brilliant signing for anyone but he'd be a statement signing for us.
I am basing it on watching him several times and thinking what is the fuss about? What is he actually good at? He's ordinary.Correct. I agree with you regarding Gray. Nothing special. Just puts a shift in. Never stands out when you watch Spurs or think he has something. Bang average player. He's only 20 but an over hyped English player who may or may not go for big money.
Apparently if you think he's average you're deluded. If you think he's great you're correct
It's an opinion and mine is as valid as anyone's. He was f***ing rubbish against us, dropped, Spurs start finally winning. That's a fact.
I said it elsewhere, but Fleming for Burnley looks to have had a decent season.
9 goals in that team is decent.
