Forthcoming gigs.

What’s that venue like mate? Taking the wife (no) to see China Crisis for her birthday on Friday. Treating her 3 weeks later to SFA at Brixton Academy for mine
Its a great venue. Went to see Love there. Have a few drinks up gosforth high street 1st.Its canny.Quite a modern civic hall( 80's building i think)but the sounds great. I also had tickets for that sfa gig at brixton but had to sell on twickets as our daughter wants to go to that radio 1 big weekend instead. Got tickets to see them at york instead in july.

Class, cheers for that mate

I really like it. Very handy for the Metro, plenty of free street parking out the back. Nice bar/merch area, usually 1 or 2 decent beers on. Sound and lighting is excellent. Banked seating is good, though I think CC is standing(?).

Don't know if they have a new bookings manager but they seem to be catering brilliantly to my tastes and I've currently got tickets for 5 shows there including my 2 absolute favourite bands.

Gosforth Hotel is excellent for pre-show drinks.
Think I’ve been twice. Dead Men Walking was the banked temporary seating. Sure it wasn’t there for Michael Head the full room was standing. Could be wrong like.

Brontes playing Cumberland Arms 17th October. unable to make it but highly recommended album out soon( already got it ) , 5 piece band on Last night from Glasgow label.

Baxter Dury and Divorce are well worth seeing at the York gig.

Did he have a mad big head thing on? He did for a bit last night. My mate said he'd seen him before steve mason once, and he had the big head thing on. Probably same gig you went to.

Saw him last year in North Shields (Engine Room) and he wore it then too.
seeing M60 in there on sat, first time ive been, whats venue like? Bit of a trek from city centre?

10 mins walk from Byker Metro. Entrance is opposite Two x Two Brewery tap (great beer) not in St Michael's Road.

It's a decent venue, good bar, outdoor bit, pizzas, but the sound hasn't always been great when I've been.

I think it was stacked to the side for Mick Head. Really liked the venue, especially as they pipe the music through the building so you can still hear when you nip to the bog! :)

Saw them last year and yeah, they’re really good

Me & my Dad have been going to see them for the last few years, but a few others tagged along last night and they all enjoyed it. Few new band members as well, all of them very good. Hopefully see them again next year, so so good and The Sage (whatever it's called now), is a fantastic venue.

Just had a look at the tour dates but there’s nothing doable sadly.

He definitely had some sort of bizarre headwear on mate, I think he's toned it down a bit to baseball caps etc now
