RLB Press conference / Nottingham Forest (h) / 13:30

would be hilarious

i mean, the other three are clearly better CBs than him, but if RLB decided that one of them wasn't fit enough or carrying knock or whatever, then we know he fully trusts o'nien to step in

i think RLB rates him as a CB higher than any of our fans
And why shouldn't he? he is the manager.

At times the O'Nien/Alderete pairing has worked really good.

Every player has off days. Luke was class against Spurs ( they would have equalised if it wasn't for him ) but struggled against an England international the week after. It happens.

Reading between the lines I think cirkin is off. Labelling him forth choice etc and too early to tell when his deal is up in weeks I think that’s as good as saying the club have either tried and not made a deal or decided the money is best spent elsewhere.
Something off with the lad I reckon. A lad his age barely being fit for a full PL season without a serious injury is mad. Missed so many chances to establish his place in the side where we've had to play a right back at left back.
Never met him, I don’t know anyone who knows him, I see some of his instagram posts. It’s like he’s one of these that does football for a job when he’s not out being a bit bizarre, wearing beads & pulling funny zen poses for the camera.

From my footballing point of view, he’s had a chance to sign a premier league contract, decided not to, now I can’t see how another current premier league club will take him. Best he can hope for is a newly promoted club, or f***ing back off to the championship.

Was he? Spurs were shite man, offered fuck all.

they were, but the closest they came to scoring was via a total fuck up by aldarete (he put it on a plate for solanke and roefs saved the day) yet we didn't hear about Aldarete being 'out of his depth' after that. it was a mistake that a CBs make at some point.

spurs were shite but it was still a competative premier league game where O'nien played well for 90 mins.

he also played well 99.999% of the mags game

Cirkin was actually decent during Afcon. Problem is he's made of glass. So you can't rely on him to be fit and ready when needed.

As for Luke. I still have him down as netting the goal, and his first prem goal, which puts us into Europe and I hope he does.

I can't bring myself to slate him purely because of the service he has given. He was brilliant against Everton and aside from the pass during the Mags game played really well against them too. He can be trusted hence why RLB uses him.

Well said its getting ridiculous now, last week was the first game we have lost with Luke starting. The other games being wins against Leeds and Mags away, and Spurs.Everybody including 09 knows that when everyone is fit he wont start,he is happy to be here and fill in where needed.

Still think Dennis is great. Be a shame if he’s let go. One thing’s for sure, if he’s off he needs to be replaced by either an u21 or a homegrown player. Can’t afford to waste a foreign slot on left back cover.

RLB said 5 or 6 of them were unwell last weekend and implied Alderete and Reinildo were taken off because of that.

I would be very surprised if both are not fit and well for tomorrow.
Makes the comeback and performance quite impressive tbf if true.
