Diarra lately


Diarra should have scored, but people are being over the top with the criticism.

It was legitimately a great save by a world class keeper, who won a World Cup final in similar fashion a few years ago.

Isidor’s finish was class, but if you watch it back, Martinez slips just before the shot, making it an easier chance than Diarra’a.

That’s just your opinion. Mine is he’s a young player with a big price tag (h didn’t set his price) and that he’s missed best part of his first season in the PL. to me he’s getting better, todays Miss…yea, he could have done better, the pass was on to Talbi but the keeper made a very good save….we will see the best of him next year

really. 9 out of ten keepers in the top flight don’t save that.

That only shows what a huge miss it was. He can play it to Talbi and it's a goal. He always scuffles his shots but he thinks he can lob a world champion like that?!
He's just useless attacking, he rarely manages a decend forward pass and most of his shots are scuffled.
His energy is important for us, don't want to undermine his contribution, but I have no expectations when he gets the ball in dangerous positions. Doesn't have enough vision with the final ball.
He's still young, but I'm not a fan, his decision making should be way better.

You must have 10 eyes on your head to have 360 vision.
 
I’ve settled down and you can see Martinez is at full stretch to stop the dink finish. I do agree of all the things he could’ve done that was by far the least likely to end up in a goal but he has to be forgiven and move on, one win v forest and a few results go for us and we go to wolves with a clear and mathematical chance of Europe in our first season back in prem, stick together and we can all be partying in some far flung European destination come September. Who would of thought that when le fee prepared to take that corner v the cheating Coventry scum

Thing is with Diarra’s miss, it’s such a crucial point in the game. He’s also not done much to redeem himself. 09 has.

All the goals were scored by England internationals, no disgrace in that.
