Diarra lately

Some usual suspects desperate to have a go at him, saying they should lift it over the keeper is generally said to players when they blast it into the keeper so that's what he did.
The fact that in the 94th minute he's racing onto that chance in the first place is a very positive thing. Footballer misses chance/keeper makes good save. Mental the complete over reaction from some over grown bairns.

My wife is a massive Martinez fan and she reckons was a save not a miss. He's a world class keeper and he made a great stop. But I think Diarra is public enemy number one. Or maybe O'Nien.

Calm down man , we nearly got something from the game. Lads did so well against a top team.
Villa were just on fire in the final third today. We had a good spell after conceding first half. Then attacking wise we were abysmal for about 35 minutes of the second half, passing was terrible from pretty much everyone. Then great pressing and a few killer balls. Plenty positives and plenty things to improve upon.
Rigg's PL form until a few weeks back was dogshite tbf. The turnaround has been spectacular.
Was stinking at Port Vale (along with everyone) since then he's been pretty good and excellent at times. Final starting to show his talent.

Saying square it when your watching on tele is the easiest thing to say in the world.

Players don't have 10 eyes on their head to see 360.

The finish was woeful but giving up the first 3 goals is why the result hasn't ended up positive for us today

Football fans always ignore the 90 mins and focus on one split second though. We've all been guilty of that before

I was at the match. People we screaming at him to square it.

The defending was shite. 09 turned in one of the worst CB performances the PL has ever seen.

Ffs he’s been injured for a big part of the season and been away playing for his country for a month and playing his first time in the best league in world football. Played well against the mags and spurs and now enemy number one.

PERSPECTIVE

on the one hand im still fuming. on the other enzos penna and his..attempt...show players without fear, who believe they are here to compete and don't even think about the alternative, i think things going a little wrong on occasion is warranted.

He's maybe unlucky in a way. you wouldnt need to argue that xhaka is our best signing ever. sadiki is up there, enzo is up there. if we'd followed the written plot and made a brave attempt but finished on 15 points he'd have been a highlight.

Shit he might be an, admittedly weakest, component in the best midfield 3 in a generation. or 2. maybe 4. But he's the same age now as Dan Ballard was when arsenal decided he wasnt worth shit too.
