He's worth as much as we are willing to sell him for tbf. Do we want to sell him? Absolutely not, he's a tremendous asset and a pretty unique player. And he's 23.

I wouldn't sell him for 40m for example, would you?

Based on how we play I’d say he’d most likely be the most difficult of our players to replace.

I wouldn’t sell him no what I’m saying is though teams wouldn’t bid anywhere near what some people seem to think they would on here.

We'd definitely get over the 30m you claimed though. His goals to minutes ratio is good, as is his conversion rate. He will turn up well on the data and the eye test shows him ragging players around.

I wonder to what extent players know their own asking price going into a summer, because yeah now I’d be upping it considerably but maybe there’s a verbal agreement at the start of the season. Maybe less so going into first season as there are too many unknowns.

Definitely not prolific striker but hell of a good one easily in £30 million bracket

56 goals in 163 appearances (all competitions) for Ajax
1 in 4 here so far, I cant complain with how many opportunities he ultimately gets to shoot, along with slotting into a new country and a team of new signings.

Love watching him play, it’s a bit old school I guess.
A few experts ( wright, shearer ) have said it’s the way he get around the ball that makes him unplayable

He he so effective there must be a concern we are too reliant on him

Would be disappointed to see him leave, need to think about adding to the front line

Played 25 games so a 1 in 4 striker this season. We all know it's his hold up play that is his main strength. Looking at old U Tube videos of him last night and he has some good finishes in his locker . Aged 23 is unreal as he just looks so much older. If he can add more goals to his game and keep on improving then he will be worth between 50 and 60 million in a year or 2. I hope we keep him but he is a unique type of player as not many have his style or strength. I love the lad to bits me . Arsenal were looking at him before his dip at Ajax and we paid 20 million so he would have been worth more before his dip. a good world cup as well could do some of our players the world of good in terms of their development and their profile and value

He only went 5 games without scoring? Unless you're including games he was injured or wasnt subbed on
Edit: sorry, i understand your meaning after reread. 1 in his last 7 games. 3 in his last 9

The drop off between him and our options is massive to the way we play. Definetly need to bring another forward option in.

Two strikers required get rid of any others if we can move them on 8n an ideal world. I like the look of that Arokadari at wolves he has struggled a bit this year but with fire sale at wolves in coming 15 - 20 million could be worth a punt imo. He is 25 6ft 5 Quick as well.
