Sad loss for Elliot Anderson

Great touch from his team mates last night. Dreadful losing a parent at any age but so young makes it worse. Sometimes there's more important things than football and tribal loyalties. Rest in peace Mrs Anderson.

Morgan Gibbs White was choked up during his post match interview last night and I thought the "family first" tribute from Nottingham Forest was class.

Despite being a black and white, I really enjoy watching Anderson, hes a great player.

RIP Mrs Anderson.
Saw the tribute after the goal, Jonathan Pearce was my commentator, (who I think is decent) made reference to it
We can have out petty rivalaries, but news like this transends them
RIP Mrs. Anderson

Very, very sad.
Losing a parent at Anderson’s age is awful. It can leave you an emotional wreck. I’ve been there myself — my dad passed away when I was 33, and it completely broke me.
There was one time when I thought my grieving had eased and some friends asked me out for a night. I went, but I regretted it. I ended up breaking down in tears in front of the taxi driver who took me home, weirdly enough he looked like my dad, his big belly that got me. I was in a really bad place at that time.
I completely understand how he must be feeling.
My mum is still alive, but I’m honestly terrified of losing her. She’s 78 now and I’m 48, and that fear never really goes away.
