English tifos are embarrassing


Why's a Millwall fan on a Sunderland message board whining about Tifo's after we just beat the supporters of child murdering from up the road?
 
Give owa man they are good and help the atmosphere.

Nowt wrong with the mags one today apart from it had a magpie and some newcastle landmarks on it.
 
I tell ya what is crap... all that flag waving nonsense at clubs like Bayern Munich.

Huge game last night, and them flags were going all night. Fair enough wave em about if ya score, but there's git big are on the go all the time. Imagine being stood there trying to watch the match ffs.

And then when they do score, they play fuckin' can can over the tannoy.

Embarrassing.
 
I just wish more supporter bases would create their own tifos rather than relying on guidance from the club. Printed tifos have their place when complimented by a display implemented by supporters but too many clubs are sticking a design into a computer and asking someone else (a professional company) to create and bring their idea to life.

It takes a large number of people to understand the culture and want to spend their time perfecting the skill but unfortunately there isnt the same passion for it in England so we are stuck with AI, computer generated printed images hoisted up for 30 seconds before kick off.
