Not sure it would be the job for someone like Mourinho. He'd see a squad coming up short and tight restrictions on spending.

They'd be daft to go for him as well, for the same reasons. He'd want money to spend when really they need to look at how they recruit, otherwise they'll just keep pissing money away regardless of the manager.
 
I don't get the love in for him, he wasn't a world class player as carra thinks he was a good solid midfielder for Liverpool, done nothing for england and they were better midfielders at man utd at the same time. The only decent time he's had as a manager is at rangers in a two horse race and even then he rode the glory, as fans said it was beale that done the work. Let him go to the mags as he's shite, another brown nosing Saudi sympathiser who would take them down.

He was world class like. Brilliant player.
To describe him as solid midfielder is absolute nonsense, Liverpool fans have seen their fair share of class players and he's one of the very best they've seen

But, Klopp reinvented Liverpool into a winning team, not Gerrard.
After Glasgow Rangers, Gerrard's managerial reputation has deteriorated.
Apart from his Saudi links, cannot see why NUFC would consider him ?
Any Mags fans who see him as an upgrade on Eddie Howe, are deluded...
