Neither you nor @Another Everton Fan and @EverBlue86 have any idea what it’s been like for us the last 8 years. Even before that. I would kill for us to be mentioned in the same breath as Everton or Crystal Palace. To be like you guys. Mid table is something I’ve always prized more than anything else because it’s the one thing we have never done or done well at. Mid table and safe before Christmas is a dream come true for the likes of us.

I love the fact we are in a position to maybe sneak into Europe.

I would snap your hand off for the Conference League, qualifying for that would mean we have finished around 8th and what a season that would be.

It's not beyond impossible we grind out a draw away to Villa and then we have a struggling Forest team at home on a friday night. Forest are not going to fancy that one bit.

We may never get the chance to 'run' again. Don't chose to 'walk' instead.

Don't know why I replied to this crap really as I know our team, management and ownership will 100% be going for Europe as they are ambitious and positive not negative. They will go for it and if we get there they will deal with the challenges that presents us.

I genuinely hope you do it.

My grandad took me to Palace when I was a kid.

He saw play off final wins with me at Wembley, Cardiff and New Wembley. He would have loved seeing us get triangular corner flags.

I agree, and we are 4 pts ahead of them with 6 games to go. Its all about Europe for me now not the Saudis. Today was like the start of a mini 7 game season. We had 3 key players back and had three weeks rest prior to the game. We looked back to our best and if we can carry that into the next 6 games who knows what we could achieve. Lets go for it. No midweek games just a game and a week to prepare and go again. This is on if we wan't it enough.

Lose to Villa probably, Man Utd and Chelsea will be on the beach when we play them, the others are game on tbh.

It’s on but tbh, I’m not really bothered, seasons target has been over-achieved.

It's wrong as they need to finish 6th as 5th place is now also a Champions League place so the spot wouldn't be pushed down the league.

It goes to another league in Europe, basically a team for the Champions League playoffs is promoted to the CL league phase instead and skip trying to qualify.

The "Winner's Spot" is reassigned to the domestic champion in the qualifying rounds with the highest individual UEFA club coefficient.

Might sound arrogant, but the 3 coming up from the champ will be fairly shite IMO, so actually getting Europe might not be quite the relegation risk it’s touted as?
