Keira Ramshaw played 300 odd games for Sunderland (which in womens football is an unbelievable number as they play less games), basically the Jimmy Montgomery of Sunderland Women.
Jill Scott is a good ambassador and does great stuff with the academy, but she didn’t actually do much as a player here. Thats what I don’t like about. If you’re going to include a women, include one who is a legend for the womens team and not just the famous one.

Murray deserves to be there on account of him building the stadium but I understand what you mean. Personally its not something im gonna lose sleep over but it would have been good to have a Jimmy Thorpe memorial given what happened to him but recency bias is always a big influence in these things

Jill Scott is a surprise but its not much of a surprise if you have daughters who are football mad. So I think thats why she is there.

I'm not saying she isn't a controversial choice but she is an ambassador for the club.
