Can Hearts do it?

Hibs (a)
Rangers (h)
Motherwell (a)
Falkirk (h)
Celtic (a)

I don't think they have enough points in hand going into this split.
Rangers at home is massive. Win that and they a have a chance.

Final game of the season. If the title is between Jambo's and Huns, there will be only one winner at Parkhead. Beat the wee team, Well and Falkirk and they are almost there

I didn't realise the format in the SPL.
What a shame, the league is rigged for the Old Firm.
How is the split rigged for the Glasgow sides exactly?

All 3 of teams in with a title chance are playing 19 home games and 19 away games. They will all play each other twice home and away this season.

They've had to give Falkirk 20 home games in the top 6 so that all of the 3 teams in contention end up with 19 home and away. Then Livingston in the bottom 6 18. But that's the first time I can recall that happening.

Hearts having bottled a few games recently has led to their gap decreasing.

Surely in this format it would make sense if you top the league before the split, you should play all your 5 games at home as a reward for the advantage, second place you play 4 games at home and then play 1st place away, third place gets 3 games at home and play 2nd and 1st away and so on. (6th place will play all 5 games away) seems a waste to win the league like hearts have to potentially lose it in a run off play off games. Glad this format is not in our leagues. Nonsense
