The 2 Derby wins

It's always class to beat them but this season was different. We still have a light headache from being in league one and they are bankrolled by an entire country. 6 easy points they claimed yet it was us that rocked up and took the 6 points. The gulf between the championship and PL is massive, as they were keen to remind us, only to be beaten by a newly promoted team twice.

Away…..patched up side, mags thinking they were going to stroll it, the resilience in the squad to take the early mistake on the chin and boss them second half

Can’t lie the 3 week break after and that allowing us to witness an absolute head loss from them has also added to the enjoyment
I hate it when it sounds like I'm having a go at our lads, because I'm not. But they lost from a goal ahead to a team with O'Nien, Hume and Ellborg in it.

Brobbey was just back from injury and threw their strongest players about and gave their best defenders nightmares. O'Nien and Hume saw action in the FA cup game, so the mags had no excuses there and Ellborg was playing his 2nd or 3rd senior game for us and it was probably the biggest game he'll ever play in

The Away Game was class. Got the team news stood in Central Station waiting for the Police Escort to leave and everyone was pretty much the same "oh shit, were gonna get battered". The walk to the ground was class. Then after 10 minutes 1 nil down and you think, aye, here we go this could get ugly. But after the first 20 minutes we were the better team and then the scenes at the equaliser, the winner and the walk back to the station after the game were unbelievable. Absolutely amazing. One of the best days ever.
