SAFC - Fan Ban & Ticket Cancellations

Yeah but any chance of the links you were talking about. You were pretty adamant it was easy to get away tickets from external links. Or another post of shit from you? 😂😂😂
It is well known that tickets are available on the “grey market”- nobody disputes that apart from you apparently.

I have never, and will never post links where these tickets are offered so please refrain from begging for them.

It's not well known
Give us or chop sauce a pm on them then
As these are the links / accounts that need to be halted

That's very interesting you say that. Literally the only other time I've heard that argument about away tickets being on those websites is from the club itself, when they were talking to someone I know about the ticket situation and the need for ID checks etc.

And truth be told, when I was told the club was making that argument I thought it was complete bullshit then - to my absolute knowledge there's never been away tickets on those websites for any game.

Don't suppose you work/ worked for the club?

...funny that isn't it?....

Absolute shite. There is no grey market sites for away end tickets and you know it. Another bullshit post from a bullshitter.
Aye. You’re right.

Despite innumerable posts on here from people who have “passed tickets on” and benefitted from being “passed a ticket” it’s impossible to acquire one.

Everyone only gets tickets direct from the club, honest.

This lad says everyone he knows has bought a ticket on the grey market.

He’s not the full shilling. He does seem to side with the club quite a lot on any ticketing issues. Whilst also claiming he doesn’t go 😂😂😂

Rumbled. Shown yourself up again. 😂😂😂

The lad is talking about between 1986 and before this season, as you can clearly see.

Lads, if you want to believe tickets don’t get “passed on” then that’s entirely up to you - we can agree to differ. Not sure why you’re all so determined to get me to agree.

I’m saying away tickets are sold to others and always have been to some extent.

You’re saying that away tickets are always used by the original purchaser.

It’s not a big deal boys, I just think you’re being a little naive. No need for personal attacks- it’s only a forum of opinions, not life or death.

Massive backtracking from a bullshitter. You said there were grey market sites and they were widely known. 😂😂😂

A cursory search of the use of the words “grey market” against my username will show you I didn’t and never have. Show me the post and I’ll take a look but I suspect you’ve mixed me up with someone else.
I wouldn't engage with the weirdo mate.
As I said, no need for school yard insults.

We’re all adults here having a debate so let’s keep it civil.

As one of the international fans attending this weekend, I along with the many others attending are extremely fortunate and eternally grateful for the itinerary we get.

Most of the international fans are part of international branches who do a hell of a lot of work in the countries they live in.

For example, German Black Cats organised a load of stuff for fans who travelled to Augsburg as well as doing presentations on Sunderland AFC in relation to the links with Essen in Germany. Their members attend several home games a season.

The Black Cats of Italy organise a weekend party every June for SAFC fans on lake Iseo. They also raise money through different events for charities such as the Bradley Lowery foundation. They also attend several home games a season.

The North American branch are active in USA, Canada and Mexico organising meetups for every match as well as appearing on TV channels over there banging the SAFC drum. Some of their members get over several times a season.

The Bulgarian branch are active in Sofia and organise meetups in the Irish bars there. Attend several home games a season.

Our Bilbao branch has re-established long lost links between SAFC & Athletic Club Bilbao and the two cities. We also organised a junior football tournament with 300 kids between 9-13 years old to promote Sunderland AFC and the English language. Our members get over a fair bit every season. One even has a season ticket and goes to most weekend home games.

I also started the Black Cats Chat International Fans Podcast to encourage international fans and branches to give their views on all things SAFC as well as connect fans from all over the world.

I can certainly understand the frustration of fans who have been season ticket holders for many years and go home and away. I do feel there should be some sort of gesture for that loyalty.

To sum up, it would be wrong to assume that fans attending international fans day come over just for that event. Many fans and branches organise several trips to the SOL throughout the season and do a lot of work promoting SAFC in their countries.
👏 👏 👏 👏

Aye. You’re right.

Constant mentions of “grey market” sites.

The lads just made a mistake and is thinking of someone else.

And don’t forget the time you helped out loads of fans stuck after the Forest pre-season game in Pinatar, organising taxi’s etc.

Folk may remember the club put the games on in Pinatar having having originally announced the games in the Alicante/Benidorm area over a couple of hours away and then said there wasn’t enough interest for the club to organise buses, leaving 100’s of fans to sort out their own transport. This lad stayed behind after the game for a few hours making sure all fans had transport back to their digs as some had come straight from the airport to the match and no way of getting back.
Come on now theres wasnt enough interest in coach travel according to the club 😂😂😂 yet 2500 got there somehow we travelled with the paddock pub 3 coaches and 2 mini buses

Here you go.
Ah ok.

When I said the “Grey Market” I was referring to all methods tickets are sold/ “passed on” in a way other than an official club channel.

I made no reference to “Grey Market Websites” so that’s where your confusion was.

No problem. Glad we’ve cleared it up.
