It’s pretty mad to think but in my time supporting Sunderland, off the top of my head we’ve only ever ‘lost’ two managers for other jobs / perceived opportunities:
Big Sam to England
And Alex Neil to Stoke City.
Adamson to Leeds?

I completely agree.Yeah. I guess a strong showing against PSG would help, even if a win is unlikely. I think with Liverpool there are a number of factors causing their issues, including Jota's death, the ageing of key players, and the fact that it's a bit of a transition with towards a team built around like the likes of Wirtz and Isak. But it definitely looks like Slot has lost the players a bit.
Either way, winning the league and spending £400m only to get much, much worse, is never going to be a good look.
Difference is the structure of the club changed and they were no longer required in the roles they were in.Speakman improved us year on year (for the most part). So did David Bruce.
KLD is brutal when he needs to be.
Already a thread mate a few posts down.
I didn't say I want RLB to leave, nor am I qualified to comment on the merits of possible replacements. All I'm saying is that it wouldn't shock me. It would disappoint me though as I love RLB.Difference is the structure of the club changed and they were no longer required in the roles they were in.
Can you think of a better (a realistic one) fit for the club as a coach than RLB?
Why? Will he be offered a top five job? That’s the only reason I could see him leaving
Before my time!Adamson to Leeds?
Agreed - nee chance Eddie Who goes back to BoringmouthI’m not sure he’d want to back for a third stint there. It’s an obvious link, but I don’t think you go from Newcastle back to Bournemouth.
He might decide to see what happens with England at the World Cup or possibly Palace or Fulham he wants to move back down south
Leeds could be a really good fitAgreed - nee chance Eddie Who goes back to Boringmouth
Man U, Villa, Engerland, Forest, Leeds also possibilities
I don’t know why they wouldn’t. His career looks to be in an upward trajectory, can see this continuing next seasonFor the same reasons as Bruce and Speakman eventually moving on. I dont think Kyril and Ghisofli will see Regis as the man for the next step.
We'll see.
Their fans are @rseholes and his @ssistant is…Leeds could be a really good fit
With the current owner, managerial change at Forest is always a possibility!Agreed - nee chance Eddie Who goes back to Boringmouth

Only way he leaves is if he's poached. No way he's shoved out.Ordinarily you’d think no chance after this season. But if he’s missing any kind of targets set out by the club it seems second chances are hard earned. It’d certainly be bold but KLD doesn’t stand still
This is àn ‘end of the season’ thread pal. Forest have got a couple of managerial changes between now and then. Please stay on topic. With the current owner, managerial change at Forest is always a possibility!
Can't see any top club looking at him even in a year or two. His style and tactical setups are not suited to top end teams at all.Regis will not go this summer unless a really top club come in for him. And I don't that calibre of club actually would (yet). RLB has as much integrity as could be expected in modern football. Though he's HC and hence recruitment is not his sole responsibility, the team have worked with him.
Nor do I think KLD will switch this summer. RLB has exceeded all expectations. Promotion and survived comfortably. imo KLD will be thinking stability:- 'consilodate and improve' right now, rather than 'reach for the stars'. Sure, he's ambitious for the club ... and has replaced senior people, but remember when he arrived he had a 5 year plan to get us to the PL. That's the sort of time frame he thinks ahead.
