End of season Premier league managerial changes

Pocchettino will be on the market after the World Cup. He seemed a shoe-in for the Spurs job until the Tudor appointment didn’t go as planned and they were forced to go cap in hand to De Zerbi.

He’s said he’d like to return to the premier league so he’ll be one to watch.
Reckon he's a busted flush mate but someone will take a gamble on him.
Howe definitely on his way.

Agree with the comments on Slot and Carrick.

An outsider to go is Farke. The owners are willing to invest but if the relegation battle goes down to the wire I think they'll look at their inconsistency and inability to turn draws into wins and think there's better out there (Silva, for example)
If that happens he'll go to Brum or Wrexham. Same as Parker. They are great championship managers.

RLBs style of play doesn’t suit Bournemouth imo. They’re not the usual low block type. Fulham don’t strike me as that type either.

Palace maybe.

Depending on who's available, both player and Head coach wise, some clubs may have to change and adapt to a different style.
They might be more established, but none of them has close to the ceiling this club has.

Means fuck all to most Head Coaches though. Not many stay in a job too long to think about a clubs long term ambitions, it's mainly about what they can do for the following season.

Strong chance Slot gets the boot tonight if the result goes badly enough.

Could be a cricket score if they play as badly as they did at City.
I don’t think they would do that unless they also felt Slot is unlikely to secure CL qualification though the league, in which case I suppose they could turn to Alonso and Gerard to inject a bit of excitement in the place. Liverpool simply have to be in the champions league next season, financially.

For me he will go to Newcastle, big enough name that they can get excited but not that big that he will have better offers. Howe will leave by mutual agreement and have 6 months out and then go to the next big(ish) team that’s under performing, my guess is Everton.

Still don’t understand England extending Tuchels contract before the World Cup, if we do bad we are stuck with him and if we win he’d never turn down the chance to do the Euros in uk as a national hero.

Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth and possibly Leeds are all going to be going for the same level of manager which will be interesting to see what approach they take.

Yeah. I guess a strong showing against PSG would help, even if a win is unlikely. I think with Liverpool there are a number of factors causing their issues, including Jota's death, the ageing of key players, and the fact that it's a bit of a transition with towards a team built around like the likes of Wirtz and Isak. But it definitely looks like Slot has lost the players a bit.

Either way, winning the league and spending £400m only to get much, much worse, is never going to be a good look.

Howe is definitely in the 'taken them as far as they can go' bracket. Just needs freshening up.

Embarrassing
No. I love Regis but he’s been found wanting at times these last 2-3 months. Lets see how we finish the season. This mini break will give us a chance to get a lot of players back fit and firing.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Deserved more than one
Tidied

It wouldn't totally shock me if KLD had someone like Farioli lined up again. We've seen it with players and executives that the club (KLD) can be completely ruthless when called upon.
FWIW I'd keep RLB for as long as we remain on an upward trajectory, but the club may see it differently, especially if a next level candidate comes along.

Having said all that, they did the same with Mowbray/Beale and look how that turned out...
RLB has exceeded expectations already and the season isn’t over yet. Why would KLD want to change?

Because he's not going to settle for Sunderland being a mid-table Premier League team IF he thinks we can push higher and RLB isn't the man to deliver it.

Not saying I agree, just based on what we've seen from KLD thus far

I think he’ll be happy that RLB has improved us year on year, and will trust him to do it again next season
