SAFC - Fan Ban & Ticket Cancellations

I’ve seemingly acquired a rather obsessive stalker, hope he enjoyed trawling over a year of my posts to throw something completely irrelevant into the thread.
I’ve not tagged my stalker, as I’ve put him on the bore and ignore list and will no longer give him the attention he craves.
Idon’t need to return here with a completely new persona and fantasy back story after being humiliated over Dell and the jackanory spouted to get some attention.
May I suggest that he sticks to the title of the thread or gets himself back over to 606 with his ‘friends’.
I don’t think it’s Reiver mind mate as he went home and away, from memory.

Just a quick one you mention removal of loyalty points since Man City, I've actually just today noticed my niece had hers removed for Fulham some 2 weeks prior to Man City, as it happens I will challenge this as she was there with me on the day. I've only checked because following Mags away mine, hers and 2 others in my group had ours removed for non attendance on the day, I feel the common demoninator was we all used the lift, on the day scanner was erratic to say the least at the lift doors. I did challenge this providing photos of us in the ground and despite the ticket office manager initially refusing to review this and accept evidence citing system was correct and saying I had to get Newcastle to admit scanner was not working correctly, they did relent later in week and points were re-awarded.Whilst its easy for me to say dont be too down heartened with all the knocks your getting, we all know you did lots for real fans. I can guarantee it isn’t Riever.

He, along with others are supporting SAFC2012 through a range of ways.

The key issue is twofold -

The hypocrisy shown by the club, having asked the lad for years to get rid of tickets for numerous games & asking him to provide some ( used for publicity) … including certain high status games

&

Then hammering him so hard for doing something they were complicit in ( when they chose to be).

Well, we all know how KLD feels about having a ticket office at all let alone making it the service some people want it to be. It definitely could and should be better but I doubt that's happening any time soon.

As you've said, how people decide to get to the game is not SAFC's problem one bit so the LNER stuff is irrelevant really. I'm sure based on posts on here the lad helped out lots of people and there was a good community of people gathered from it but if i'm not mistaken it wasn't an official branch registered with the club either. I've also heard the flip side of the coin about what he was doing with some tickets but again don't know how true or accurate those claims are either.

Unless the club or parties involved want to publicly air all elements of the situation people will just keep giving their opinion until it becomes yesterdays news. I wish we knew the full extent of the truth but doubt we ever will.
What is the flip side then it might not be much to you or the club but one of his branch saving 50 or 60 quid on most of the away games is quite a lot .did u ever see him advertise on Facebook for points for tickets or selling them .he was a branch who had 40 tickets ring fenced for his branch .these are facts that I know that is true .so tell us what u know what has happened or u just talking shit
Couldnt someone else pick up the organisation of LNER tickets?
Omg what a another stupid comment .do you know how much work goes into organising and getting 120 lads on to trains and getting them there .in my memory of going to away games there hasn't been an official travel club for 25 years .so that's how easy it must be

 . As I've pointed out, I don't know many facts of the situation (other than comments posted on here) and seemingly many of them are still not known. People don't have to advertise tickets on facebook but it doesn't mean they aren't letting other people use tickets that don't belong to them. Someone in this thread has already claimed an Arsenal fan was getting tickets to Sunderland away games through this person. That may or may not be true but the fact remains whatever this fella did with LNER tickets is largely irrelevant to the club and the action they've taken, he could've been saving someone any amount of money and it's still irrelevant. The flip side of what he was doing with those tickets is also information viewable in this thread, if that's true also.

Completely irrelevant to the thread.
Well, the lad called me a liar in the thread so I’m not sure how pointing out that the lad himself regularly tells porkies on here would be irrelevant.

He then went on to say I had made a fool of myself on here so pointing out that he regularly posts some embarrassing sh!t on here is also relevant. Funny that he seems to think it would take time to find examples of this tbh.

Anyway, happy to be ignored and let the lad live in his own head h challenged or questioned - I’m sure
I’m one of many on that list- it’s the internet equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting.

aye i think they can as well. i suspect it's just too much work for no reward for them to be arsed though.

when we get the email links for away games (if they're digital only) don't they tend to come from the home side? sometimes from fortress gb or something like that so perhaps the dishing out of the links doesn't come from our ticket office, perhaps we just pass the info on to the home club to send them out. wonder if the corporate and players relatives get theirs sent out differently or whether they get paper tickets?

for us personally at man city the turnstile flashed red so we had to go to the window next door where the lad printed off paper tickets. for fulham and chelsea ours hadn't arrived in the post so we had to go to get them from their ticket offices.
The reward is helping fans, or customers as they will probably refer to us as ,bring back the days in the late 90s abd 2000s when you knew the lasses names in the TO and they would want to help you, unfortunately allot left under Bain

Who is bothered what the club thinks. They don't care about away fans .they just want the tickets gone as fast as possible .then they don't want anything to fo with them again.one absolute arsehole comes on here trying to say an arsenal supporter has travelled with his branch over 40 times and getting tickets. What a load of shit
.I personally know that one of safc squad passed his 3 mags tickets on .and they were sold on for 500 quid each .nothing will ever be done about that. Nobody has to believe me .safc2012 branch has over 100 members in it and once the tickets have been sent out the individual can pass them on to who ever they want .just like every ticket coming from corporate ticket office .sponsors .players.they can be passed on to who ever they want .I saw George Clarke at arsenal how the frig did he get 40 plus points

Well if that's true then there's your issue. You can't let any 40 people out of 100 have tickets when they won't be used by the person who's account had enough loyalty points to get the ticket in the first place. The corporate / ticket office / sponsors tickets are a different kettle of fish entirely and for as long as I can remember corporate / players have always got tickets. The club have been very clear since ID checks came in that the person using the ticket must be the person who's ticketing account it belongs to. Whilst I don't feel like the clubs approach to this has been consistent in terms of it's punishments, and we all know people who've got tickets from other people, the rules have been quite clear. You can't just pass tickets on to whoever you want if that's what was happening as so many have kicked up a fuss this season about a lack of chances to get away tickets.

and the branches have operated the way they do as long as anyone can remember. You can’t have one rule for “celebrity” fans who are on the telly and another because someone’s a Joiner etc.
Therefore, the club are not being very clear and, in fact, flouting their own rules - unless there is a celebrity caveat I haven’t seen on the website.

So people want there to be a situation where branches can get say 40 tickets, and any member of that branch can use any of those 40 tickets if they have 0 loyalty points or 90? I'm sure you can see why that isn't popular. Corporate tickets have always and will always be a thing. If i'm not mistaken, some corporate season ticket holders get away game tickets for every game as well don't they? I reckon the club somewhere will reserve the right to do as they see fit with corporate tickets as most other clubs do.

Thats another disgrace. Happened to a lad at Arsenal as I recall. Did your lad keep his point? And he could get in without you according to the TO?
He kept his yeah. Their logic is an 11 yo was there on his own. We live near Milton Keynes and drive to matches, so god knows how they think he got there!
