Yes, making yourself look silly for not reading another thread really was.
Oh well, not the first time you have made an arse clart of posting in this thread.
Palace, Forest, and Man Utd. I was lucky to be online when what I can only assume were returns went on sale. 3 and 4 tickets going onsale at random times. Generally, when a phase for another game was about to go online. Everytime, I was amongst people who I'd describe as players friends/family - or suit and tie people. It can most definitely be done when it suits them.
It's scandalous really.

It looks like an average Joe is going to lose money. Tell them to fuck off and if they sell to anyone come down on them like a tonne of bricks.

aye i think they can as well. i suspect it's just too much work for no reward for them to be arsed though.
when we get the email links for away games (if they're digital only) don't they tend to come from the home side? sometimes from fortress gb or something like that so perhaps the dishing out of the links doesn't come from our ticket office, perhaps we just pass the info on to the home club to send them out. wonder if the corporate and players relatives get theirs sent out differently or whether they get paper tickets?
for us personally at man city the turnstile flashed red so we had to go to the window next door where the lad printed off paper tickets. for fulham and chelsea ours hadn't arrived in the post so we had to go to get them from their ticket offices.
They did put them back out on sale at the points phase they went offsale though, just to make that bit clear - I was just too slow at fastest finger first for those ones, but picked them up at the random times they went back on

Lots more posts since I last looked and after a brief read through it seems as though the full clarity of the situation still isn't there. If the posts on here are accurate then there's 100% been wrongdoing on both sides. It feels like people are trying to judge it in an almost impossible situation as the more it rumbles on the less clear it actually becomes and obvious wrongding on both sides stands out

As always the truth will be somewhere in the middle. The club have undoubtably been shits to some of these innocent fans caught up in the debacle. And the fact that the gentleman continually refuses to answer direct questions pertaining to passing on Premier League away tickets to those not entitled also speaks volumes.Lots more posts since I last looked and after a brief read through it seems as though the full clarity of the situation still isn't there. Pretty much what i'm gathering from it to be honest. As well as other posters accounts of things that have happened and who've been involved. I doubt anything will change now anyway either to be honest and in any usual situation i'd say that's a shit attitude to have and those wronged should be helped out BUT it feels like in this situation for that to happen the full truth would have to be out there and it sounds like neither side want that.

Absolutely. And the whole LNER thing - whilst it’s a shame for those who are losing out financially on ticket prices - is completely irrelevant in this. They are a third party. All this “oh we’ll have to drive now” and “I’ve had to buy a railcard - what an inconvenience” is nothing to do with SAFC.
On the flip side however I doubt that the very much needed ticketing overhaul will ever happen because from the clubs side they do not seem to give a shit either. It’s a shit situation and neither side are coming out of it particularly well. Yes, the lad is being defended a lot on here but how much of that is by the people he got cheap train tickets for, who are now themselves inconvenienced? Or from posters (two in particular) who have their own axe to grind with the ticket office?

Well, we all know how KLD feels about having a ticket office at all let alone making it the service some people want it to be. It definitely could and should be better but I doubt that's happening any time soon.
As you've said, how people decide to get to the game is not SAFC's problem one bit so the LNER stuff is irrelevant really. I'm sure based on posts on here the lad helped out lots of people and there was a good community of people gathered from it but if i'm not mistaken it wasn't an official branch registered with the club either. I've also heard the flip side of the coin about what he was doing with some tickets but again don't know how true or accurate those claims are either.
Unless the club or parties involved want to publicly air all elements of the situation people will just keep giving their opinion until it becomes yesterdays news. I wish we knew the full extent of the truth but doubt we ever will.

I’ve seemingly acquired a rather obsessive stalker, hope he enjoyed trawling over a year of my posts to throw something completely irrelevant into the thread.
I’ve not tagged my stalker, as I’ve put him on the bore and ignore list and will no longer give him the attention he craves.
Idon’t need to return here with a completely new persona and fantasy back story after being humiliated over Dell and the jackanory spouted to get some attention.
May I suggest that he sticks to the title of the thread or gets himself back over to 606 with his ‘friends’.
