Mine are all fishing trips with a bunch of pals
May 2 weeks near Tain, easy access for Lairg for Trout fishing, 30 minutes to Brora for a go at the Salmon and Seatrout.
June 2 weeks up at Strath Oykel in Sutherland, fishing on the river for Salmon and loads of Lochs for Trout
2 weeks in July up at Brora with Salmon on the loch, Trout up at Kinbrace, Forsinard and Lairg
We are still looking for somewhere for the end of August, early September,
An outside chance I might go next week, depending on the weather.
I really should think of moving, what with the cost of fuel 😁
I'll try to take my Mrs somewhere but she says she enjoys it more when I go alone 🤷‍♀️
It all sounds great apart from the fishing.

Just had a week in Cornwall
Long weekend Whitby in May to meet up with my cousins
Long weekend in Glasgow in July. Taking the granddaughter as she wants to see where her Granny was born.
Week on the Ayrshire coast in August
A week in Normandy in October

3 weeks Benidorm with the lads 14 of us ,was Booking for Skiathos in Sep but Hotel price has gone up,from£3330 to £4200 For a week

Langdale in May and October
Tuscany by rail in June - one of those group tours at the request of the good lady - looking forward to the various train journeys and destinations but apprehensive about the 'group' thing with me being antisocial :) (atleast you do get 3 days to do your own thing)

Benidorm in 4 weeks with the lads. Got the last week of the world cup booked off in July but haven't booked anywhere yet.

Off to Malaga soon, travelling up to Granada for two nights and then to Torremolinos. Anyone got any advise regarding travelling back and forth between the two cities, i.e. coach or train, book in advance or turn up at the station on the day? I've done Seville to Cadiz recently where we turned up at the bus station and bought Ida y vuelta there and then. TIA 👍

When travelling from Seville to Malaga the high speed tickets went on sale about 4 weeks before the date iirc. They're cheap and can sell out nearer the time but it was easy to book via trainline when they went on sale. Assuming it'll be similar for your journey.

Nice one mate.

Week in Lanzarote first week of July with the wife, her sister and 2 young nieces. It's going to be totally different to the relaxing break we normally take but I'm looking forward to it.

I'm doing a similar thing in the summer, travelling to a few different places in Spain via the train.
Shove driving for a lark.
