Millwall lads genuinely love coming to Sunderland - their message board confirms such when we've played them in the past.Did they get off at the wrong stop

They have visited Sunderland for a number of years, love Sunderland pubs.Did they get off at the wrong stop
Loved The GreensThey're bug Dun Cow and Peacock fans
Last time we played them at home happened to be a match me and the lads decided weeks in advance we’d stay out on the piss after. Bumped into a load of them in Life of Riley about 10pm. Sound lads the lot of them, and they all loved Sunderland for a night out.Millwall lads genuinely love coming to Sunderland - their message board confirms such when we've played them in the past.
Had this exact same conversation with a group of them in the Terrace last year. All sound as fuck I thought, I’d be happy to have them back again.Last time we played them at home happened to be a match me and the lads decided weeks in advance we’d stay out on the piss after. Great shoutMillwall fans talk got me thinking, there's been plenty of times this season, drinking in town after matches where bumped into away fans having a great time - Brentford one example springs to mind, there was loads of them - and talking to them in The Rabbit (if know, I know) where they were bemoaning the fact they had to get taxis back to Visitors City, having seen there were hotels just over the road.
Hopefully next season brings more footfall into our city from away fans realising.
Its fair enough, 'we'd been gone so long'

Seems daft they wouldn't look for Hotels in Sunderland first mindMillwall fans talk got me thinking, there's been plenty of times this season, drinking in town after matches where bumped into away fans having a great time - Brentford one example springs to mind, there was loads of them - and talking to them in The Rabbit (if know, I know) where they were bemoaning the fact they had to get taxis back to Visitors City, having seen there were hotels just over the road.

Weren't there rumours of a spoons hotel in one of the new builds on high street? Not sure how that would work likeWith Jamesons going, where would it make sense to have a new wetherspoons? Muddler site at keel square?
I would hope not. I don’t mind Spoons at all and drink in them plenty and I’m as far away from being a snob as you could get, but I don’t think a Spoons would fit there considering it’s aimed at being a ‘cultural’ part of the town. I’m sure we could do better. With Jamesons going, where would it make sense to have a new wetherspoons? Muddler site at keel square?
Would anyone sit outside of the botanist paying twice (if not more) than someone sat 20 yards away?I would hope not. Maybe on high Street West somewhere. Are there any empty unit big enough there?Weren't there rumours of a spoons hotel in one of the new builds on high street? Not sure how that would work like
