Excellent watch againYou're going to need to set aside 30 minutes of your day for this and probably commandeer the big telly, but when you do...enjoy.
Just how did Sunderland slay the entitled neighbour up the road? Well it wasn't that difficult really. They played with no recognised striker up top, convincingly lost the midfield battle and had no substitutes to dictate any change. This aside, Sunderland had a solid game plan they largely stuck to and aside from gifting Newcastle United a goal inside of 10 minutes, they executed their plan pretty well. A second half performance of perfection sealed what might easily have been a larger score line on another day.
Obviously I can't put it on YouTube, so I can't embed a link here, but you can watch it on either of these links for free.

Agreed. I've been waiting for the full match to be released so I could relive it without the Derby day fear and anxiety. This was just right.Magnificent! One of your best vids Trenchy.
What I like about their goal is how after the first game, one solace they were desperately clinging to was the notion that they had to score the goal for us. So we've gone up there, returned the favour with an absolute gift, and then proceeded to beat the bastards fair and square with two good goals. They must have been, all bias aside after 20 minutes we pretty much played them off the park. They were second best everywhere. The nature of their goal is almost joyful in retrospect, it clearly made them all assume it was their day and that makes the outcome all the more enjoyable!
The full match is on the safc websiteAgreed. I've been waiting for the full match to be released so I could relive it without the Derby day fear and anxiety. This was just right.

And they can claim fatigue but brought 6 players on!What I like about their goal is how after the first game, one solace they were desperately clinging to was the notion that they had to score the goal for us. Cymru Am BythNice one Taff![]()
At the time, I was thinking get some subs on Regis, but watching the analysis back ya realise we didn't really need to as we were in control. And they can claim fatigue but brought 6 players on!
And we had two of our three best players this season missing, in Roefs and Mukiele. Not to mention our best centre back and both left backs. Oh and one proper fit winger, in Talbi.
Any idea when that will happen marra ?Agreed. I've been waiting for the full match to be released so I could relive it without the Derby day fear and anxiety.

Absolutely bizzare logic even by the mags standards. Clueless twats piling in agreeing nonsense with each other. What I like about their goal is how after the first game, one solace they were desperately clinging to was the notion that they had to score the goal for us.
