Dogs of The SMB.

The whole family are going on Billy's favourite walk tonight. We'll do it with smiles on our faces, while sprinkling his ashes in all of his favourite sniff spots, oh and of course in the beck. He was a true Lab after all.
Beautiful.

I really feel for people who have never experienced the deep love that you all have for Billy.

1 dog, simply by being himself, generated enough love to bring your whole family together, and cry smiley tears for him, purely and simply because he was Billy.

Special dog that marra.

I hope you all have a special time. 🧡
There is just something wonderful about dogs.

I was in the pub for a couple of hours last night and there was a lovely looking dog, some sort of cross bread I think. It had been a nervous pup, grew confident and then a bloke for some unknown reason had jumped at her this week shouting rah, and that had spooked her setting her right back. She cowered away when any of us went to say hello. But, she was next to me under her dad's legs along a bench seat running the length of one wall, with her dad at the next table.

After a bit (and probably because I had been eating pork scratchings) I felt my fingers being licked (dog, not her dad). At first I could tickle her chin but she backed away when I tried to rub her head. But gradually through the evening she had a good sniff of a few of us, realised we were no thread and allowed a back scratch & ear tickle. By the end, she had worked up the confidence to go around the whole group.

It was just lovely to see that bit confidence coming back to her.
1 wanker put her back, but you and your mates made her believe again.

Amazing how much a bit of kindness and understanding can achieve. 🧡

I have dozens of pictures of my departed black Lab Ben, and loved every minute I had with him.

But if ever a picture came close to what I've got its this one of Bobs in his goggles. I laugh out loud every time I see him.

Happiness personified. (Teds another one but hes Regal)
He wakes up every morning and says

" Morning Dad. Point me at the fun." 🙂

Oh, hex on that stupid bugger who thought it would be funny to make a wee doggie more nervous.
