Xhaka not happy with the early leavers

I agree with you, after about 30 minutes yesterday the ball went out and quite a few went downstairs for a pint. Then the second half started with probably a third of the crowd still downstairs. The football is like a sideshow at times. I think how shit we were for so long created a mindset that is hard for people to shift when we're not winning every week.
Definitely mate, turning up in body alone isn't really enough as a fan, there needs to be a little bit of spirit too. Going downstairs for ten minutes in the first half or consistently leaving on 90 when there's one goal in it, or even when we are winning (aside from genuine reasons like work and family do's etc) isn't good for the club. Bar the season ticket/match day ticket revenue there's no positive impact there, quite the opposite really.

He’s in the wrong place then. Our home support really ain’t that good.
Was described as best in the league by many pundits earlier in the season.

Which it was.

But it does go flat pretty quickly over time. Or turns once the initial excitement dies down or momentum is lost.

I'm in the West Stand, but walked all the way around the East Stand to leave, which will have no doubt added to Xhaka's frustrations. Waved to the lads on the field as I walked out as well.

That refers to the players going 'til the end and not giving up. They hadn't even started today!
It’s everyone, that’s the point. Players feed off fan energy and fans feed off players.

We went 1-0 up after being the better side up to that point, and after it was ruled out they went up other end and scored. Our fans didn’t give any real support in reaction and instead just whinged any time a pass went awry (which was a lot).

For much of the season at home it felt inevitable we’d always score at some point and either win or rescue a point, but it doesn’t feel like that in the crowd now and that’s obvious to the players.

just made it up for whatever reason.
No it's certainly not made up. I was sitting directly in front of the great man whilst he was gesticulating and shouting at the plastic fans as they left in their droves with about 10 minutes to go. If I'd been on the pitch with him, I'd have been shouting at them too.

What was he shouting?
