Xhaka not happy with the early leavers

This has nothing to do with your OP though. He's not blaming it on the crowd, it's more: "what are you f***ing off for"? He's got a point but at the same time it doesn't mean he's saying we're losing because you're all f***ing off.

Personally, I don't think he's as special a player as what a lot claim on here but he is absolutely right in that not enough stay with the team, and the vocal backing is shite as well.
Today we created 0 chances in the last 5 minutes and then in the 8 minutes added on so yeah people will leave. Him and the rest of the players need to give the fans something to stay for

The fans have been shite since about December.

Tremendous in the early games of the season, but have been piss poor for months now, even when the team was playing well and grafting their arses of. On top of this the early leavers are back to embarrass the club every other week. The players must look around and think "what the fck is this place?!"
So its the fans fault? get fucked

You'd bring Isidor on over a defender though surely

tbf bringing Cirkin on wasn't a bad idea. Keeping Hume at LB where he's hopeless was though; should've moved Cirkin into LB and moved Hume RB, with Geertruida moving up the pitch.

Cirkin and Hume would be then just extra wingers in their natural positions since Brighton weren't attacking.

It happens. Playing against good teams. It's gonna happen a lot more often if we stay in this league.

You're gonna have to stop being a baby and get behind the team: win, lose or draw.

I blame "the progressives".

Theres a huge difference in effort (or energy levels) to the beginning of the season like.
Energy levels I agree but that’s not the same as effort.
Injuries and lack of squad depth has meant the same 14 or so players have had to play pretty much every game. Its not surprising energy levels have dropped

"Problem drinkers"......

Do you personally know every single person who left early daft lad?

I went a couple of minutes early today as I needed to be back (Reason is of no concern to you) Am I a problem drinker..... Bearing in mind I was driving so never had a drop......

😂
"Daft lad" alright gramps calm down.
I didn't ask for your life story

It's amazing how quickly this season has gone from an amazing one to a 'typical' one, where everything feels flat and negative.

Ultimately it's been a great achievement, but it's falling away fast.

There was a tyne tunnel sized gap for him to go through and shoot. At no point was Talbi the best option. He was.

His freekick into the wall summed up his set pieces. They weren't well taken. First man or too deep. They've got to be better and he'll know that.

That freekick wasn’t great but most of his set piece deliveries were. One corner had exceptional delivery. Someone attack it well enough it’s a goal.

I don't think he's actually fully fit and I think the teller was the fact he didn't boot the very clear chance he had in. He must have known his foot wouldn't have been able to take the hit so had to pass it elsewhere.

As for early leavers. I agree with him tbh.

I noticed they turned off the TVs in the concourse at 80 minutes. Clearly to stop people leaving to watch it in there.

They weren't on when I went to the toilets at 30mins

I’d understand if we were 3-0 down even. But 1-0 down, pushing for an equaliser, makes us look tin pot. And yes, your money/your ticket, you can leave whenever you want, true - but that doesn’t take away the fact how absolutely honking it makes us, as fans look. Do whatever ya want, but psychologically, it makes a difference to the players and the match.
