I see Coventrys owner is being a right gonk about our promotion

It was a bit radical how we changed our 11 but we lost a bit of identity they'll do it the Coventry way
Regardless what you think of rlb there's a game plan there he's stuck to and it's worked somewhat both seasons
If they stick with their current squad after promotion, they'll get a good crack at beating Derby's record low.

This will be a case of careful what you wish for I fear. I personally feel extremely safe with this manager. He is an ultimate pragmatist, he nails the basics to get us competitive, he starts seasons well which is so important in this league and he creates a real team/happy dressing room togetherness. We still need to establish ourselves at this level, he has said himself we don't really have the wingers and attacking players to play a different way currently and that part comes later as those young wingers mature. My biggest worry is we'd go for a fancy Dan who comes with ideas of an expansive game and doesn't understand the PL and it unravels quickly. Not even in my mind to change RLB, this season has been beyond my wildest dreams and think he's smart enough to slowly change the style as we give him better attacking players over time.

It's already named as the way of the 6 clubs that went down immediately 2024-25 and 2023-24.

And if they lose their identity, great, no more cheating.

Reading a few opinions from cov fans in lineups due to PSR they need to go to up this season I think don't think they've got the room we did when we went up. Csn see them being a bit like Burnley tbh
Especially with the switch next season to squad cost ratio. I'm not seeing the transfer profits there to give them the transfer funds, especially as they won't be keen on selling their better players. It took a certain amount of cojones to sell off Jobe and Watson in the belief we could reinvest in better

They’re too scared to bump me up to striker despite being on here longer and having more posts than other strikers

My power would know no bounds.

honestly, what the fuck is this shit? I was expecting the bi-annual call for the managers head to be postponed for this season after we have performed admirably and seem to have accomplished any (reasonable goals for the start of the season.

We have some really bad losers amongst our support.

The OP has 81 trophy points though

Not sure if they will have funds to add that much to their squad other than loans and freebies ie the Burnley Model
Who knows maybe Lampard could find a way to get a tune out of a cheaply cobbled together squad. Huge ask
Will Lampard be pragmatic enough to change how they play? Southampton have demonstrated what happens if you try to play the better PL teams at their own game.

Nearly 600 replies and every one missing the point. RLB does not have the gravitas or ability to be a leader of men.

In any industry or profession the workforce marches to the drum of the leader and thats what produces results.

There has to be both respect and fear of reprimand for the workforce to perform at optimum levels.

The fact that Elborg and O9 were laughing at the mess of a back pass and 09 continued to banter with the crowd despite trailing to a bottom tier bound opposition is demonstrative of lack of fear or respect.

Nordis reaction to being substituted recently is further evidence of the same.

Diarra's focus on berating supporters rather than being fully focussed on on overturning the defecit is further evidence of lack of respect.

Rigg lacklustre peeformances is further evidence of mis-management.

Ghisolfi/KLD were responsible for Granit and Roefs without them we would be where Wolves are.

The " professor" is a bluffer we got lucky this season and without a fit Xhaka to manage on the pitch we will struggle next season .

BTW. the reason i took my kids to Australia 20 years ago is because i envisaged cultural decline as you are currently experiencing.

Just call me a " Visionary"
