More erasing of history...

In Canada they have a bird called a Loon on the 1$ coin so it's known as a "Loonie". (QU E2 in on the other side)
The two dolar coin has bear on it but it's known as a "Twoonie" but not a "Brownie or Bearie"

Think the aussies have a combination of wildlife and people

Great thread mind.

I remember Irish coins had animals on, a fish, a horse, a hen, a dog, a bull, a pig and a hare and a pretty bird thing

I've got lerds.

Your argument is offensive and racist aside from being, by any standard, bullshit.

Are you using the standardised SMB definition of "woke"?
In what way is it offensive and racist? Is that your standard response to shut down a discussion you're wrong in?

You're argument is racist and offensive, and clearly lacking knowledge. Easy this

Oh dear.

Your position is that the British Empire civilised savages... racist
You are making a grotesque virtue of an oppressive regime raping whole continents.

History isn't being erased. In fact quite the opposite, it's being restored.

Those animals were around long before Churchill etc. Even long before money.

It did civilise a lot of countries. It stopped Africans enslaving and selling people. It forced slave traders to stop. It stopped the burning of widows, the killing of female babies being killed, it introduced institutes, technology, law, trade, and democracy.

Not all of the empire was good. But to claim it didn't stamp out many savage practices, and that ending slavery was racist is a bit mental

I didn't say it was a pantomime villain only doing bad. You said a lot if it was a good thing.

Would you agree that overall the British Empire devastated and raped countries in the main?
