I'd assume with a fair few it's exactly that unfortunately. I find it very odd and I'm a bloke with no real personal ties as far as I know to either Scotland or Ireland. That could be for any reason. I hope it’s not for religious or racial reasons.

I've travelled to a lot of away games following Sunderland and the only place I've seen anything approaching violence was at Cardiff. The people causing problems will cause it anywhere for any reason. Mind you, a mag at Shrewsbury was going to take on the full Sunderland end. I don't know of any 'home fans only' pubs in Sunderland.
Think they will have been captured on video by the plod & arrests will follow.....however it will be difficult to arrest the gers will all those spiderman masks knocking around.Just seen it. I mean I don't care for either but it was clearly Celtic fans behaviour and coming onto the pitch than was the catalyst.
Mind the stewards and police were useless. First just letting Celtic fans come onto the pitch without challenge, letting them arse about amongst them. Then Rangers fans were allowed to stroll on and then back off the pitch without challenge too.
Me too but they try and reduce this to nonsense. Some of them won't even accept that there is a problem with football racism and violence in this country.... I meanKeep up at the back I've had a go at Celtic fans on this thread
Celtic fans stormed the turnstiles. Celtic fans first entered the pitch. Celtic fans trashed the stand. So yeah I'm mainly blaming Celtic fans but as I've said dickheads both sides.I’ll keep in mind to be as broad as possible in any of our future conversations. You just let me know where I should start and end on a topic
I’m happy to be corrected but I think perhaps that you really want the balance of blame to be in favour of Celtic fans. If that’s what you want then go for it. Despite objective reality.
Nobody is changing your mind Gordon. I hope you feel better.
Where is the problem on a scale you are talking about in this country please?? ...as for deludedMe too but they try and reduce this to nonsense. Some of them won't even accept that there is a problem with football racism and violence in this country.... I meanthey're deluded
From growing up in Scotland I’d say this the classic Celtic victim mentality I’d expect, Celtic fans on here with the whataboutery whilst trying to come across morally superior to their rivals. The same in every pub across Scotland you get the same kind of chat.I wouldn’t even waste your time.
There’s an underlying distaste toward Celtic fans with some people.
That could be for any reason. I hope it’s not for religious or racial reasons.
Euro 21 final... that alone says there is a problemWhere is the problem on a scale you are talking about in this country please?? ...as for deluded![]()
...aye, one example 5 years ago is a problem today like...you are clutching Cat i'm afraid.....deleded some would even say.Euro 21 final... that alone says there is a problem
Every thread i click on has you having ding dongs with people. Literally every hour of todayMe too but they try and reduce this to nonsense. Some of them won't even accept that there is a problem with football racism and violence in this country.... I meanthey're deluded
See the Whataboutery arguments have landed early.
Set of wankers on both sides
I'm sorry what international football have we hosted since? I'll check that out...aye, one example 5 years ago is a problem today like...you are clutching Cat i'm afraid.....deleded some would even say.
You are saying there is a problem all over the country man...it's simply not true.I'm sorry what international football have we hosted since? I'll check that out
Yep.Every thread i click on has you having ding dongs with people. Literally every hour of today
Sounds like you're wanting a scrap as much as the idiots on the pitch.
Really sad you can’t call out the sectarian Irish issue and have to try and deflect. Really sad.Yeah it literally is. Football related violence by men kills women and children.
Boys will be boys eh
Google league of Ireland violence, there’s probably more examples there than in the English games. Was only a year ago Derry and Bohemian’s were attacking each other with weapons. It just doesn’t get reported the same, because there’s mo exposure to it over here. The rise in the Ultra movements in Scotland and Ireland has seen a rise in this sort of thing....aye, one example 5 years ago is a problem today like...you are clutching Cat i'm afraid.....deleded some would even say.
Tbh she was saying over here and i'm saying there is none over here.Google league of Ireland violence, there’s probably more examples there than in the English games. No one cares. How many people are religious nowadays? Scottish / Irish people that make up the Celtic support are white predominantly. Isn't the racism in the UK and Ireland aimed at brown skinned people overwhelmingly?I wouldn’t even waste your time.
