There you go. Give him a free pass to never score a goal. So who has to score?

Xhaka is the anchor man in midfield. He has scored one and has several assists. Sadiki was lost in Xhaka’s absence.

If a midfielder can’t score then replace him with one who can.

I think the nature of those types of player is that given the output is attacking, if they doesn’t score he can go games without doing much

He doesn’t win the ball like Sadiki or Xhaka do, so he can look more anonymous throughout a game I suppose. And if we/he doesn’t score, it’s more obviously on him than others

Edit. It’s 5 goals I can think of

He’s very good at getting the ball and running at the defence when he’s between the lines. Other than that I’ve not seen him thread a ball through or take someone on.
The team should be full of beans. At 40 points and should be letting the shackles off

Also our squad is very young

Possibly, but he also doesnt seem to win the ball back or give options for building play.

Seems a bit lost in the system and Im not sure what he actually brings to the team

The players who have to score are the attacking players? The wingers and the forward thinking midfielders such as Diarra and Le Fee. It’s like a Chelsea fan slagging off Kante for not scoring goals.

No he doesn’t win the ball back, Sadiki and Xhaka do that way more

The main stand outs for him compared to the other 2 mentioned are:

Progressive carries, touches in the box, shots, goals (and xG if you care)

That stuff won’t always come off but it’s definitely the type of player he is

He’s scored 2, forced an own goal and set up Mayenda’s goal with a shot after taking up a great position since coming back

Feel like he might have scored another penalty I’m forgetting too. Either way, he’s had attacking impact since coming back imo. It’s just the stuff that doesn’t always come off and we’re crying out for so it’s more obvious

His performance and reaction was pathetic today but may have been down to hunger ? I still think he has something Tbf although he hasn’t really shown it yet. Too many fans living in 2010 where 30m is a extortionate amount of money for a player. I think Le Bris as much as I like him makes his mind up on players and then he will die on that hill. I’m in a minority but think Adingra gave us something else our current wingers don’t but wasn’t defensive enough for Le Bris. Obviously early days but I rated Adingra above Angula from what I’ve seen
