Pre season announced

Quite fancy this , our lass is tempted. Fly to Nashville, road to trip to Philly then NYC, fly home. 10 days in total

Downside is having to listen to this pro-Trump bollocks. Can't stand thick as shit ignorant hate filled people

I got told about these games at Bournemouth, was told at the same time that there’s a game in Austria

Hope you're right mate. I heard a rumour about these games in the US months ago (after Liverpool away), so hopefully the clubs has everything in place now and can release details of this Austrian trip nice and early.

Just my two cents as an American. This is a much, much better trip with better locations than last time. Good opposition too, all at stadiums purpose built for soccer. Nashville is excellent, as is Philly I hear. It will be hot as hell, even in NJ and Philadelphia. Also, our government sucks and is going to destroy the world. Sorry.

I'm not far from Nashville (by American standards - 5 hours drive) and will probably drag my family out for the game and visit some family friends.

A valid concern.

It's worse

To be honest, aside from the MAGA boot licking coalition, Americans are cool as f***

Alright, take it easy. Maybe not all the way...

And we respect your decision!

It's true, if I hear ANYONE speak with a British accent, I try to talk to them about football as soon as I can. Soccer fans are a real minority over here, so we get pretty excited when we get to talk about the sport with people who get it.
You should leave the country while you still have a chance.

I was on a cruise in the Caribbean and an American family spotted me in a Sunderland shirt and asked me how he could get his kid signed by an academy!

Its hard to avoid in some places in America.

Last time I was there it was a fun listening to their reasons for supporting trump. Had some interesting conversations

Not sure it would be like that anymore.
In New York in November and got talking to one group who basically thought we had been invaded by an Islamic army. I think a lot of what we hear about them through the media and vice versa is exaggerated.

aye a lad in Florida last time we were there (about 2018-ish) assured us that there are more knife related deaths in the UK than gun related deaths in the USA, its just that we don't hear about it in the UK as our media is anti-trump

also that there are cities in england that are under islamic law and police and white people can't go there etc..

i can't be arsed with pretending that their pro-trump shite is acceptable to the human race.

Absolute nonsense. No places under islamic rule. Gun crime is way higher in USA than knife crime.here.

Looking to do the games in NY and Philly fly out to JFK and back from Philly.. looks doable
