Good god no.
ThisI think Gillet is an arrogant t**t in his refereeing style. That penalty shout epitomises his approach, I think he's turned it down in a 'I'll show them' way. Problem yesterday is the dynamic between arrogant Gillet with his FIFA badge proudly on display and the VAR referee being much less experienced (he's SG1 so Championship Level). He was never gonna suggest a review to his much more senior colleague. I think the powers that be will genuinely be very unhappy with the Arrogant Aussie yesterday, I'll suggest we won't see him again this season, and probably for a while in the League. Be just our luck for the FA to appoint him for a Cup game at Wembley though!!!
Don’t have to guess it’s straightforward refs make mistakes always have.So have a little guess there mate , its not impossible to do that is it ? We've been through this many times over the last few debacles .
We've got , incompetence, personal favouritism or corruption . Which do you think ? . Time to stop being a contortionist marra , because its reaching the point where no ethically substantial reason can be voiced with any sanity. This one is just the one that proves what others have been saying weekly, the officiating is not fit for purpose , for some reason .
Have your guess .
Yeah it was Watford wasn’t it? Warnock was raging. He was QPR manager or something. You better believe it.
Remember about a decade ago the ball wasn't even close to being between the two posts after a shot was taken; it was about a metre wide of the left upright and he gave a goal for someone. Class like
Well some things are defendable and some not.Are you feeling ok hun?
Shocked your response but least you see what others have seen for months.

Yeah exactly and totally spot on, dumbfounded it wasn’t overturned when slowed down replay and perfect angle. This is the worst part for me.
It’s bad enough the ref doesn’t deem it a pen when he’s looking right at it, but to have VAR see it from different angles and speeds and STILL not think it’s a foul is mind blowing.
I get the feeling Gillet won't be batting an eyelid about it and actually thinks he was right about it.Don’t have to guess it’s straightforward refs make mistakes always have.
And the one yesterday was a very bad mistake.
That’s it nothing more nothing less
What are " mistakes " caused by then ?Don’t have to guess it’s straightforward refs make mistakes always have.

Well if we talking about this in general and not yesterday. What are " mistakes " caused by then ?
I mean picking up a tin of marrowfat peas instead of mushy when theyre next to each other on the shelf at Asda is a mistake.
You could say anything that results in an adverse outcome is a mistake and pass it off . If you're still getting home with the wrong peas when youve got a team around you equiped with VAR surely you'd have a word with the doc wouldnt you ?
Other way round is a bastard nightmareWhat are " mistakes " caused by then ?

Bizarrely, he gave Adams a yellow AND a free kick to them. Make it make senseFrom BBC -
"But Bournemouth themselves were perhaps fortunate not to see red when the VAR decided to stick with Jared Gillet's on-field decision to show Tyler Adams a yellow card only for his studs-up challenge on Granit Xhaka"
Sorry , but he didn't show Admas a yellow card did he ? He gave the free kick to Bournemouth, or am I tripping me nut off ?
It wasn't a mistake, it was incompetence or bias, or both. What are " mistakes " caused by then ?

Yeah it was total incompetence to give Adams the free kick . He could of broke his ankle . It was at this point I think he thinks ....what have I just done . The man's a total idiot .Bizarrely, he gave Adams a yellow AND a free kick to them. Make it make sense
