Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor arrested

Watching some of the stuff prior to his arrest it may not even be about his disgusting sexual stuff seems he used his position as trade envoy etc to profit personally or that seems to be the accusations. I’m guess g that’s what they mean by abusing public office. Not sure what the charge will bring but it feels like for the stuff we all find hideous he might not be on the hook for just yet.

Why hasn't that twat Mandelson been dragged in with him.
Put them in cells next to each other to reminisce about the good ole days.

He should surely what we know he’s abused public office too? Passing on information would clearly be an abuse of public office. Hopefully now the dominoes will fall.

It's just to do with sharing of info.

This could be a case of "this is what we could get him for" which would be unsatisfying for a range of people and reasons.

Or it could be a case of "this is our way in to addressing all the allegations against him" i.e. he can be charged for what he gave to Epstein which was a criminal breach of his obligations in a public office. Does that open the door to legal cases covering what (and who) Epstein gave him in return?

The kings brother was at the coronation which you'd expect. Other than that he played no part in the proceedinge.
The Sun reported that the future king paid personally towards the loan to Andrew. This was denied which better news sources reported. There is no evidence that Charles paid anything.
So no member of the public who watched the ceremony has anything to feel shit about now. Glad we sorted that out.

There's no evidence available to the public that Charles paid anything towards Giuffre. That doesn't mean there isn't evidence. Thats what police investigations are for.

Either the police are still building the case against Mandelson OR Mandelson knows a lot of dirt and they're trying to figure out how to avoid him dragging other political or royal figures into it.

I think you want your ducks in a row right. You'd want to have a good grasp at point of arrest.

If they haven't arrested Mandy yet on the blatant evidence in the Epstein files they either think there is more they can get or they need more time to get various VIPs to safety... or there may be deals being struck.

I think it is fair to say that powerful white men don't tend to pay the price for their crimes... I'd think we are all somewhat skeptical that even with this absolutely open goal that justice will truly be done.

There is most likely a lot of lobbying and bartering going on right now and I feel my hope that any of them will really face the consequences normal people would is naive at best.

Let's be honest, realistically the absolute worst case scenario for him will be house arrest.

The Royal Family will continue to publicly disown him, and he'll be quietly squirreled away in one of their many properties and continue to live a more comfortable life than 99.999999% of the population.

Suspended sentence, if anything at all I imagine, the dirty beast 😒

That wasn't the point though. The point was those who cheered the coronation will feel shit now, which is absolute nonsense. There has been nothing revealed which would make anyone feel shit now because they watched the coronation. It's all on Andrew and what's that saying about I'm not my brothers keeper?

I'm a life long anti royalist and I haven't watched any coronation. However I agree with you that's absurd to say that anyone should feel bad about enjoying the coronation.

However you said "The Sun reported that the future king paid personally towards the loan to Andrew. This was denied which better news sources reported. There is no evidence that Charles paid anything.". My point is that just because there is no evidence publicly that doesn't mean there isn't any evidence. The rational thing is to wait for the evidence and to avoid speculation.

Whatever the outcome of this it will have absolutely no impact on my life one way or the other.

Hope you are proud of yourself. Cheering on a family that protected a nonce. Poor lass who ended up topping herself. Shame on you.
