I did think that, it does sound like this may not have been the plan, at least not a plan everyone was on board or knew about. Kld is a ruthless young lad mind we’ve seen it before. We will see in the summer if this has been a good move or maybe a run before we’ve walked call.

We won’t know till the summer really. People saying gilfy was in charge of all our summer business so who knows as that was a decent window. I thought two heads maybe better than one and speakman is obviously way better placed for the English games for instance. Thought he might have stayed and took care of that side including signing English talent for the aol etc. maybe that was the role he was offered and decided against it. Reading between the lines is always a dodgy thing to do but that statement from the club especially the hit about the board decided doesn’t scream it was the plan all along for him to go and the timing is again strange. We’ve done the strange timing thing a few times under kld so it’s not a surprise just something feels like this wasn’t the plan all a long type thing. We maybe wrong I doubt we will ever know either way but that’s football.

This happens every day at work, why should sports industry pros be any different? Speakman has been set up for life and work prospects now. He literally did what he was asked to do, but cant scale anymore.
Speakman's was nice, it seemed quite heartfelt. I agree that KLD's seemed a bit cold.
