Adingra

The Man Utd away game was the beginning of the end. Poor Masuaku was getting tortured down that left hand side and Adingra was nowhere to be seen.
Never a good pairing. Masuaku was supposed to be an attacking FB. Adingra ( who got better defensively) never really fancied helping his FB

to lightweight for the prem he was pushed off the ball easy looks like he’s got a a bit of quality just looses the ball all the time and isn’t involved in the game enough french league might suit him
better

There was a quote from his country manager last week that Simon needed to leave the Premier League asap as it didn't suit him
He was quoted saying in Prem league as a winger you need to be either explosive(like Doku) or have physical ability to run up and down tracking back.
That’s fair enough and he is probably right.
Never really seemed a right fit, looked lightweight.
Talbi is slight as well but seems to stand up to the rigours better, and as for Le Fee - just different class
I think Talbi tracks back and offers something at both ends to the pitch which suits our systems.
Y own take is he looks lightweight and offered nothing bar maybe 2 or 3 moments in all of his appearances. I don’t know what the French league is lime but I will hazard a guess it is t as physical as here.

Wasn’t much between him and Mundle, and Mundle is home grown and better defensively…

There was a lot of difference between what Adingra has produced in terms of carries into the penalty area, openings created, the odd assist and goal at this level so far like. Without wanting to bash Mundle again Adingra is miles better at those things at this level.

What Adingra isn't so great at was awareness once into dangerous positions, but he gets there miles more than Mundle and the off the ball work ethic sticking to what Le Bris wants.

Adingra is a much better, more talented player, not suited to what Le Bris wants but still probably made us a better team even accounting for the frustration around his end product. If we can get our money back it makes sense though given it looks like Talbi is more comfortable left having seemingly been bought for the right and he offers more of what le bris wants and what's needed in the PL.

Think he'd be a decent enough squad player for a team that's more attacking in their style/tactics. Our success this season has mainly been down to how defensively solid we are as a team. We don't really play on the front foot a lot of the time, but that's to be expected when we've just come up.

There's no doubt that he wasn't defensively at it, but you could argue that its not a commin attribute in a lot of wingers or wide forwards. There's no doubt that the PL is the hardest league to play in, so he may find his feet in France.

I wish the lad well, and hope he kicks on as it will benefit both him and the club.

I still wouldn't write him off. Only 24.

I think fans often write off players too soon, I'm surprised they haven't learned considering the trajectory of players like Clarke, Amad, Roberts, Ballard, Bellingham, Mundle etc.

You have to give players time, especially if they have time on their side to develop.
